As a celebration of Homicide being my first track to ever reach 1 MILLION views, I decided it was appropriate to give it a 2021 makeover and re-release it as a remix called 'Suicide.' I decided to go for a more jazzy feel with this one and really had fun messing with 7th chords. I also really loved the idea of juxtaposing jazzy textures with more gritty sounds like the bass that comes in at the drop! 

I don't really have much more to say in regards to this one since I was mainly just having fun so hope you enjoy it!

[Mini Rant/Vent]: 
Big thank you to Skybriel, Nick Nitro and SharaX for providing feedback on this while I was working on it and providing encouragement for me to actually upload it ;v; I actually originally wasn't going to upload this because of a wave of negativity I've received on my last few uploads comparing me to friends and other remixers in the community. Honestly, we all hate that and it just makes things *extremely* awkward between us and even creates manufactured resentment in some cases. But I'm trying my best not to let that stop me from expressing my appreciation for these OSTs and to just have fun with remixing again. I've realized that my best work is usually produced when I'm just trying to have fun instead of forcing something to be "perfect." Ironically those are the tracks Im least satisfied with and often end up deleting. I realize I don't need to have the mixing skill of Deadmau5 to be happy with my music. I just want it to be catchy and fun 😊 After all music is supposed to be fun right?

Hey, long time no avocado toast! (is that joke getting old now? eh, whatever) It's been a while, I've been busy with school and just life stuff in general but I randomly had a burst of inspiration and wrote this track for Killer! I originally wanted to do something more spooky and techno-ey like what you hear at 0:21 but then I came up with a really angsty bassline and melody which I decided to throw in at 0:55 :3 Overall the track took me 11 hours and I'm pretty happy with it and excited t get back into writing originals. I also threw in some references to Homicide and Suicide if you can spot them though they're fairly obvious xD

Okay so I initially said I was going to write an original for each of the main characters of Deltarune and then immediately abandoned that idea after finishing two xD But Deltarune Chapter 2 provided me with the opportunity to take a different direction with Noelle given the more dark path she goes down in the Snowgrave route. I got really experimental and just kinda let my mind run wild with the atmospheric sounds. I actually based this track off of those creepy chords you often hear in old cheesy horror movies like Evil Dead owo I also included a darker version of the melody from my original Kris theme "Another Day in Autumn" at 1:08 as kind of a nod to the kris/the player forcing Noelle go down the Snowgrave route. Overall took 10 hours and I'm very happy with it :D

I recently held a Livestream on the channel where I went through all my old FL Studio projects and you guys picked which one I should revamp and finish. This is a track I started back in May of 2020 for a commission that ended up falling through. All I had written was the drop but I thought it was epic enough that I decided to run with it and build an entire track around it! (✧ω✧) I kind of wanted the track to have a mood that was all over the place so as to match the title of "Insanity." For instance, there's the super aggressive drop at the beginning and then it goes into a more tame piano section and then into the more standard drop and then a more emotional piano section. In total it took about 20 hours to write. I had a lot of fun with it even if the mixing drove me a bit crazy \(★ω★)/

Sooooooo......I'm back lmao. 

Wall of text jumpscare gooooo!

Okay, I think I owe some form of an explanation for myyyy *checks calendar* 6-month absence- holy moly. For the past few months, I've been struggling a lot with my mental health. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and have also been dealing with extreme bouts of depression and mood swings that come without warning. I also came down with the virus over New Year's and dealt with the long symptoms for weeks after my fever subsided. All of this led me to isolate myself from college, friends, and also my music. I think there were probably a good (bad?) 4 months where I just straight up didn't even bother to do so much as open FL Studio. It's something that I have been continuously working on and while it's taken a lot of therapy and personal will I think I am now at a place where I am (relatively) stable. 

I came back to try to start writing music again about 3 weeks ago and the first thing I started working on was this track. True to the theme of these past 6 months writing this track was a struggle. I found myself constantly stopping and starting and restarting and working and nothing seemed to sound quite right. The composition is rather non-complex yet it seemed to take everything I had to write something that sounded cohesive. That's when the track name hit me. Purgatory. A temporary suffering that I had to endure so I could reach a final product that would bring me joy. I thought that fit the theme of what I was going through quite well and that inadvertently became one of the main inspirations for this track. 

Overall, this track took me around 25 hours of going back and forth and re-working the drops multiple times (fun fact I have like 6 versions of this project file saved on my desktop lmao). Perhaps this isn't the most impressive track to upload as a comeback after 6 months but nonetheless, it's what I made, and technically impressive or not it's a special track to me. I truly hope you enjoy it ❤️

As a 19-year-old! Today I'm turning 20! *cries* I'm old now (not quitting yet lol)

Hey fam! No, you're not imagining things I did upload this track before (about 3 years ago). However, I quickly took it down because I realized that I had rushed it to the point there were glaring mixing errors that I wasn't happy with. Now, I've done this before with certain tracks but they usually never see that light of day again afterward. But, as I was looking through some of my old project files (I was trying to organize them for once in my life are you proud?) I stumbled across this again and actually really enjoyed the composition. So, I decided to completely re-do the mixing and mastering from scratch! 

For many of you, the changes might not be super noticeable but this actually took around 10 hours to clean everything up lol. I also made some changes to the instrumentation (switching out certain drum samples, pitching them up/down, or adding effects to some of the instruments) and even added a new melody to the very end of the track because I thought it fit better. You might think these are minor changes but I'm actually so incredibly satisfied with how this track sounds now. I think it might actually be my favorite track in terms of mixing and mastering at this point.

In other news, I'm back from an extended hiatus. I took time off to focus on some mental health struggles that I've been wrestling with but I'm more or less back on my feet as of now. I won't be returning to my other social medias (Discord, Twitter, Instagram, Patreon etc.) but I will start uploading here and on SC again. I think a little space from interacting with folks directly is what I need atm as I've come to value my privacy quite a lot. (I'll still be active replying in the comments tho!) [Underverse Original] Stormheart - Rehabilitation (Crossroads Remastered)

Something new this time! Happy October, I've long been a fan of analog horror (Local58, The Walton Files, Gemini Home Entertainment, The Mandela Catalogue, Petscop, The Backrooms, and all the other smaller projects that are currently escaping me rn lol) and I wanted to try my hand at writing an instrumental track themed around one of them. For me, Alexx Kister's project seemed like the obvious choice since I have an extreme fear of the uncanny faces and that series played off of that really well for me lol (if you happen to see this Alex Kister hi you're really cool.)

Instead of going for something hard-hitting and intense, I wanted to try my hand at writing something more tame & dynamic. I had a lot of fun playing with incorporating the EAS as well as the simple sine wave you hear at 1:02. But the part I had the MOST fun with was trying to write a composition that was more dissonant as opposed to my more melodic stuff. I really wanted to capture that uncanny feeling of "something is just not quite right" or "something is just a little off." My personal favorite part of this track is at 1:28 which I find to be hauntingly melodic at points but it also makes it feel like the track is falling apart at times lol.

I chose to include a more traditional melodic section at 2:09 mainly just to give y'all a break from the weirdness before you get thrust back into it at 2:35 lol. Overall, it's probably not what you'd expect from a Mandela Catalogue fan track but I wanted to try to add something different from what everyone else has contributed. I went back and forth on deciding whether or not to upload this track but I'm personally satisfied with it and I hope you enjoy it as well!

Hey there! So, I realized after all this time I never tried my hand at writing an original Errortale thing so I decided to give it a go and.... boy was it a doozy to work on hA. The track itself changed directions several times and I found myself reworking the drop at 1:47 until I got something I was satisfied with. Overall it took 20ish hours and I'm just glad I got it done it time for Halloween even though it's not really a spooky track but whatever lmao. 

One fun part of this track though was that it just started out as a random experiment of me re-using and old original melody made from one of my commissions from 2021. It was fun to revisit that and rework the melody into a new context :)

Hey y'all! Realized it's been almost exactly 4 years since I uploaded my last Dream Sans track and since I didn't really like it very much I decided to make a new one lol. This track is one that's rather personal to me and actually started as an attempt to remake an old original of mine from 2017. Eventually I ended up giving the melody so many variations that it became it's own thing lmao which it retrospect I think was for the best. Dreamtale has always been one of my favorite AUs and I wanted to make sure when writing something for Dream that I refrained from making a theme that was too childish or cutesy and so instead I aimed for something for mature, bittersweet and nostalgic. I tried out some new techniques with vocal chops with this one at 0:45 and 2:15 which I think fit the song really nicely. They didn't give me too much grief to mix either which was of course welcome lol. Overall it was a relatively quick vent track that only took me around 5 hours to write and I'm extremely proud of it and I hope you all enjoy it too! 

In other news, I have an Error track pretty much done that I'm getting ready to release I just need to figure out what to title it so suggestions are welcome lmao. I've started to get back into the groove of things so tracks are releasing pretty quickly now :) I also feel like I've really improved with mixing and mastering since the start of this year which is weird since I didn't work on music for like 6 months out of the year lol V:

It's been 4 years since my last Horrortale thing and I felt like trying my hand at at another experimental track! This one focused more on the sound design & atmosphere over composition hence the long intro lol. For vocals this time I took snippets from a Harvard lecture on the classic "trolley problem" but spliced them in a way that's creepy...maybe. All in all it was a 9 hour track that I wasn't expecting to write but it ended up coming out of nowhere anyway lmao.

Guess who's back, back again? 💟 This is one of my favorite tracks so far I had so much fun working on the sound design and working with a heavy af bassline. I've been messing around with audio clips (reversing them, distorting them, pitching them etc.) to make for interesting background sounds and I'm really liking it so far! I did it a few times in this track but I think my favorite example is at 1:25 where I took a clip of someone singing and basically just destroyed the hell out of it to make for a creepy distorted breathy sound (idk what to call it lmao).

[Deltarune Remix] Stormheart - Renegade Susie (Vs. Susie x SharaX Renegade)

Rather tame compared to some of my other works but I thought it was good to try something new o3o Started as a remix of "The Legend" but then it did its own thing lmao. So I decided to write lyrics for this one. Basically, the meaning of the track is Ralsei waiting alone in the dark for those mentioned in the prophecy and he's lonely in the empty Castle Town. With nobody to talk to he turns to the darkness and reaches out to it instead o3o Hopefully you can tell what's going on with the lyrics xD I debated whether or not to release this one since I'm really hard on myself when it comes to originals & I was unsure of the voice I made for Ralsei but I think its ok enough for youtube o3o I might write songs for the other peeps mentioned in the Deltarune prophecy (The Human and The Monster) mainly cause I need an excuse to do another remix of Susie's theme but also cause I think it might be a fun little project xD

Fell in love with Kamex's remix of Shara's "Yet Darker" and wanted to do something with the melody too! 

This was a really fun remix to work on! I'm especially proud of it as I actually designed a lot of the synths and basses in this track from scratch ovo Drum and Bass is quickly becoming one of my favourite genres to write owo I'll probably be writing in this style more often rather than my usual four-to-the-floor stuff.

Tackled another AU and this time as you can see it's Disbelief (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧This track was a 15 hour descent into insanity as I had a hard time designing a bass that worked for the song and coming up with parts that kept the track interesting but also didn't stray super far from the original. For how much I struggled though, I think I'm happy with the result. Writing stuff with heavy basslines is always fun even if I'm not super familiar with how to do that xD

In other news, thank you for all your suggestions in the community post on which AU's you'd like to see o3o So far on my list I've good Underfresh, Underfell, and Storyswap. Kinda excited as these AU's give me a chance to write tracks for other characters not just Sans (Don't worry tho sans I still love you bb).

This is probably my most sound design heavy project to date. I've always thought the Bete Noire's introduction into Glitchtale was a very creative and interesting direction to take the story and wanted to write something for the character now that I've developed the skills to write originals for stuff now xD I knew I wanted to write something that fit the "spook month" theme but not as "fun" as some of my other Halloweeny stuff. I wanted something dark, industrial and SCARY as opposed to something spooky and fun like Dark Darker Yet Goner or Electrostatic. It took a lot of practice to get things to sound the way I wanted but I struggled less than expected (I ended up wrapping up the track in about 8 hours of working straight). 

I've grown to really admire Glitchtale and this original was really a chance for me to break loose and go crazy so that's always fun V: (It's not every day I get to pursue personal projects) I've been having a lot of fun writing AU stuff and I'd love to do original stuff for Glitchtale in the future (don't think I'll be doing remixes for this particular AU though due to personal reasons) o3o

Quite a few of you guys have been suggesting an original theme for Killer and so here we are (｢･ω･)｢  It was difficult for me to decide which direction that I wanted to take this track. In the end, I decided to go for something similar to my Glitchtale original track Rhabdophobia where I did a half-tempo heavy dance drum pattern and I really like how it turned out! (〃^∇^)ﾉ 

In total this was 20 hours of work and I think I was able to capture that intensity I wanted even though the track is played at 90 BPM which is far below what I usually go for (I typically write music in the 160 - 180 BPM range lol xD) As always go give the artist some love the link is below. I used more art of Empireverse since their designs are super cool xD

It’s Underfell time ＼\ ٩( ᐛ )و /／ I recently bought Shreddage 3 for FL Studio and wanted to practice using it in a track as I’ve never had electric guitars at my disposal before. I wanted to go for a more uplifting chord progression in this track since every other Underfell track I’ve heard (except Red Light) has either been a pitched down version of its Undertale ost counterpart or super heavy dark rock/metal. Thought it made for an interesting new take on the Underfell AU 人（≧Ｖ≦＊）/ This was a 15 hour track and even though mixing electric guitars drove me to insanity I think I'm pleased with the end result. Thank you to Chance, Skybriel & SharaX giving me advice with this!

Fun fact actually, the melody I used at 0:59 is from an old unfinished original I started back in the summer of 2018 (｢･ω･)｢ I thought instead of hoarding it in my ever-growing folder of unfinished projects I'd try to make it new (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Hey! I've been on a bit of an original kick lately so I decided to take 9 hours out of my week to finish up an original for Fatal Error (ᅌᴗᅌ* ) I started this track back in Texas when visiting family in September and just around to finishing it xD (Fun fact actually, I actually wrote most of this track at a coffee shop in-between classes xD)

It's been a while since I've worked with any of Shara's compositions so this was pretty fun! I didn't struggle too much with this one as opposed to some of my other tracks. In the end, it took 10 hours to finish but it was an enjoyable 10 hours that I do not regret!

A very spontaneous remix for Frisk!ヾ｜￣ー￣｜ﾉ I missed Undertale's anniversary sadly so it was nice to have a piece where I could work with some nostalgic melodiesヽ(^◇^*)/ 

I recently bought the VST Serum so it was fun to try out some new stuff with this track regarding bass design. I've been wanting to make my style sound a bit more commercial (elements can be seen in tracks of mine like Stay with Me and Let the World End) while still maintaining an original flair. Let me know if you like this style and are interested in hearing more traditional electronic genres! (ﾟヮﾟ)

I'm back here this time tackling a new franchise (ﾟヮﾟ) It was an interesting challenge taking the "Dead Body Reported" sound and turning it into a 3-minute track but with Kam & Shara uploading their own I couldn't sit out! In total it took me 8 hours and I am so happy with how it turned out!

In other news, I should be uploading stuff to Spotify again sorry I just got lazy lmao.
