A mainly orchestral take on the soundtrack for TRON: Legacy. Originally composed by Daft Punk.

Now, before people judge me, I am well aware that TRON: Legacy's soundtrack is actually very orchestral, despite the fact that many people only remember the undeniably awesome synths that Daft Punk managed to work in. This is just more orchestral. Plus, I love the TRON: Legacy soundtrack, so I had to come up with something to pay it homage. In my opinion, it's better than many of Daft Punk's typical songs.

I've made this downloadable, so if you liked it, leave a comment, and download a copy for listening whenever! If there seems to be a need for it and if I feel like it, there could be a TRON: Legacy for Orchestra 2, as I left some of the soundtrack's best pieces untouched (Derezzed, End Titles, and Disc Wars, just to name a few).

I tried using minimal orchestra in this piece, just to see how it went, and I can say that I'm fairly pleased with the results! Playing around with synths and percussion has to be one of the greatest things a composer can do! Enjoy!

Ravager Of Worlds (Epic, Intense, Orchestral/Hybrid)

Kingdom Under Siege is the second release in Saga, which is a project focused on creating a much more cinematic feel, as if through storytelling. As if it were a score for a nonexistent movie, motifs may repeat themselves from piece to piece.

Kingdom Under Siege tells the story of a city under attack. As you may be able to tell, tremolo strings are one of my favorite tools for building tension in orchestral music. And once again my addiction to short string ostinatos is apparent!

I really enjoyed making TRON: Legacy for Orchestra, and it seemed like you guys enjoyed listening as well, so I decided to continue on with a second piece! The pieces orchestrated in this piece: Son of Flynn, Derezzed, Rinzler, and of course the main theme. The original music was written by Daft Punk.

Final Stand (Epic, Hybrid)

Recently I went on quite the binge of Williams' music, and I was so absorbed and enthusiastic about it that I decided to make my own piece set in the Star Wars world, using some of the same themes and in general just referencing Williams' work.

I didn't try to make this piece in Williams' style, but rather tried to borrow some elements from his technique in terms of instrumentation and melodic development. I wanted to infuse a bit of the spirit of Williams' music into this, but still have it clearly be my own composition. Hope you enjoy!

Star Wars - Rise Of The First Order (Soundtracks Reimagined)

This piece is a departure from most of my older tracks, using a lot of techniques and instruments that I've horribly neglected in the past. No drums, no brass - just the beautiful, lilting tone of strings, woodwinds, and tonal accompaniment. Hope you enjoy!

A Medley in the North. Like much of my other content that draws on music by other composers, I strived to make this track distinct from its inspiration (in this case, Ramin Djawadi's themes for Game of Thrones) but at the same time keep some of the same motifs. This one I've worked on for a while. I wanted to capture that feeling of warm content at the beginning and then introduce a really powerful drive for the rest of the piece. Blending electronics with the orchestra really is awesome.

Circuits & Shields is an MOBA game with a modern twist, currently in development. It's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of MOBAs, or just games in general.

For this piece, I felt the need to kick it all off by establishing a theme - something versatile that can be expanded upon in future pieces. It's an interesting idea since the role of music in MOBAs is kinder to a wide range of champion themes rather than any unifying motif, but a solid theme is always a good foundation for bigger (and better) things in the future. Circuits & Shields - The Path To Paradise

Apologies for the lack of recent uploads - here's a short piece to both make up for it and boost your hype levels for Star Wars Episode VIII. In my Soundtracks Reimagined series I try to offer my own take on existing material. This time I wanted to play around with the Force theme and work on a higher contrast between the melody and its climax.

Fearless - Epic Orchestral Track

I envisioned this track as a soundtrack to a dystopian science fiction world, highlighting the dark and secretive criminal underworld of a sprawling urban metropolis. This piece was fun to write since it encouraged me to experiment with atmosphere, textures, and sound design more than I usually do.

This track will be the first in a series that I'm calling "Dreams of Dystopia", which will chronicle the dystopian science fiction setting mentioned above. I'm thinking of it as the score for a film that exists only in my head, and I'm hoping it'll be cool to listen to as a cohesive experience.

A remix of one of my all-time favorite themes, the Star Trek Main Theme composed by Michael Giacchino. Its chords are so lovely that I just had to make a remix!

Star Trek Main Theme - Orchestral Remix

I've wanted to experiment with some of the themes in ATLA for quite some time. While sketching out some of my ideas, I found myself gravitating toward writing a theme for Azula. Her themes in the original show were menacing, but I felt that there was more to her story than what her music said. I wrote this piece to play around with her signature motif while putting more emphasis on the powerful and tragic aspects of her character. I guess you could imagine this as part of the score for the rumored live action Netflix series, if it drew musical inspiration from the show.

As the track was coming together, I decided that this would be a good project to commission artwork for. I reached out to Raco, an artist who I'd already seen draw gorgeously stylized depictions of Azula (specifically this one: https://www.instagram.com/p/CBnK8VJJEeI/), and he made the incredible drawing that you can see above. Avatar: The Last Airbender - Azula's Theme (Soundtracks Reimagined)

Stardew Valley is one of my favorite video games. The other day I suddenly became inspired to orchestrate something from the excellent soundtrack (composed by Eric Barone, a one man army who also did all of the programming and art for the original game). I've listened to great orchestral Stardew Valley arrangements before, but my goal with this piece was to see what it would sound like if the game music was literally dragged and dropped into an orchestra, without taking many creative liberties. So unlike the other tracks from my "Soundtracks Reimagined" series, this time I can't claim credit for the composition itself. But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and I hope you enjoy this alternate rendition of one of my favorite tracks from the game: "Spring (It's a Big World Outside)".
