Stepping towards the 5-year milestone, with half a decade of music and releases, Summer Melody is ready to present our own retrospectives, represented as our second and third part of the release trilogy. This is ½ Decade: A 5-Year Retrospective, and for Part 1, we are delighted to have the infamous melodic progressive veteran, the one and only Lumidelic!

Lumidelic's own Buried In The Snow has been a label staple, and having him on the label and part of his own remarkable catalog of releases, we have to invite him back to compile a bunch of label classic and his personal favourites, and mixed for Part 1 of the special Retrospective compilation.

Tommy Gustav, aka Groove Cocktail, has been active since the early 00s and has shared the console with renowned DJs from Roger Sanchez to Bob Sinclar. The Polish artist also co-runs one of the biggest and longest-running label and party series in his native country, Taste The Music, where he is also a resident DJ. Now making one of his most significant label debuts to date on Junior Jack’s Adesso Music, Gustav brings the heat with his tantalising single ‘Shadow Rituals’.

The atmospheric ‘Shadow Rituals’ is a deeply immersive six-minute affair underscored by thudding, organic drums, shimmering soundscapes, and siren noises before a chorus of spine-tingling vocals transports you to another plain.
