ViLLAGE is Romanian-born producer Vali Dragomir, who had his breakthrough in 2012 through his debut EP "Takeover" on Origami Sound. He followed it up with "The Catch", a collaborative effort alongside his friend Arapaima. It all went uphill from there with a string of remixes for mainstream names like Lana Del Rey, Lilly Allen or Sia as well as high-profile underground artists such as Henry Saiz, Lindstrom or 123Mrk among many others. ViLLAGE’s sound range is a mix of contemplative bass music, fun percussion bits, hints of footwork, UK house, Jersey club and cleverly altered R&B vocals.
2014 was a big year for the 23 year old producer, starting off with a release on French music and fashion label Kitsune and the launch of his own label, Canvas, as an imprint of Origami Sound. Besides debuting a few favorite artists-to-watch, he used this new, personal platform to release his latest single, "Neon Rave".

Below the Interface is a journey downward.
Not into the sky, but beneath the surface — into pressure, darkness, and inner systems.

The first part is the descent. It is built from old drum beats and piano fragments taken from almost thirty years of music. Sounds that once existed only as practice return here, reshaped by time and depth. The music moves between claustrophobia and the infinite ocean, between tight spaces and vast, open water, between heavy bass and fast, fractured rhythms. These states feel like chaos and hyperfocus at the same time — familiar to those living with ADHD.

In the depths, systems begin to fail. Errors appear. Leaks open. Artifacts remain. Nothing is clean. Everything has weight.

At the deepest point, a signal returns — proof that something was reached.

The album ends at the surface. Not with relief, but with what was brought back.

Below the Interface is not background music.
It is a record of depth.
