This 40min piece combines binaural beats with a captivating fractal soundscape made from the crackling of hot-water-heating pipes. I designed it for repeated usage and to keep you from drifting off to sleep.

The first 10min gradually relaxes you as it drops from 16Hz to 4Hz, and the last 10min does the reverse to gently return you to a fully awake state.

How I've used this track is to focus my mind on the sounds, and whenever I notice my mind has wandered away into some thoughts, I gently bring my awareness back to the sounds. Sometimes I focus on progressively relaxing each part of my body during the first 10min, so that by the time I reach 4Hz, any tension in my body has been released. Deep breathing is another thing I like to do during that part. I recommend experimenting and using whatever method works best for you.
