Hayz has exploded onto the scene, with releases on labels such as 1Forty, Plasma Abuse and Southpoint, along with a recent ep out on Durkle Disco with NothingNice, featuring Riko Dan and Logan. Its safe to say Hayz has cemented himself in the dub/140 scene. In his mix, he goes through a range of square wave and bass heavy 140 and grime.

‘Gosh’ deftly extrapolates the core mechanics of Bingo-Era UK Garage and twists them into something new and innovative. Relentless bass mutates throughout, interwoven with choice samples and keys for a truly refreshing and forward-thinking

Label-mate MKII steps up to reconfigure the lead track into something altogether darker, showcasing his unique take on the UKG sound. Brooding chords play out over intricately woven percussion whilst peak-time piano lines and strings bring the drama.

Rising star (and Fabric resident) Fish joins forces with Lucent, dropping this hotly anticipated single featuring contemporary bass with UK Funky percussion. So Strong has been a staple of many DJ’s sets for a while and has become a firm fan favourite.

Leading the way with remixes, up-and-comer Wheeto delivers a crushing Bassline rework introducing a higher tempo upfront feel while working in original elements.

Ali Mck and Jhuttz follow, driving their version in a deeper and more moody direction taking reference from early 2000s Grime and Sublow. These guys are tipped as ones to watch out for in the near future!

Following on from the success of KXVU's 'The Cave' EP, specifically that of the super well-received collaboration with Razor entitled 'Victim', we felt it was time to open 'Introducing' up to a number of new remix projects, the first of which sees us introduced to the dark and dingey futuristic sounds of On1. He gets busy here revamping Razor's sharp vocal presence into a moody garage roller, refixing KXVU's Asian string plucks into the composition with a new lease of life, putting a wicked new spin on one of our favourite vocal drops this year.

Angry & potent bars are delivered 10 fold as Rame demands attention from the listener over this UK Funky meets Grime beat from Fork & Knife. Such a strong track could only be supported by equally impressive remixes, including this one from On1 who has taken the original track and given it a classic sounding Garage flip. This song is undoubtedly an exiting addition to the recent resurgence of UK Garage.
