Following on from the success of KXVU's 'The Cave' EP, specifically that of the super well-received collaboration with Razor entitled 'Victim', we felt it was time to open 'Introducing' up to a number of new remix projects, the first of which sees us introduced to the dark and dingey futuristic sounds of On1. He gets busy here revamping Razor's sharp vocal presence into a moody garage roller, refixing KXVU's Asian string plucks into the composition with a new lease of life, putting a wicked new spin on one of our favourite vocal drops this year.

2019 was an incredible year for the 'Introducing' platform. We surpassed 100 releases, amassed over 5000 followers on SoundCloud and moved into the second official series. 

For our debut release of 2020, we welcome the futuristic bass sounds of Greed and BTW, two producers we have had our eyes on for quite some time. They touch down for their debut 'Rich Boy', a saucy heater dripping with fuzzy bass overtones and expertly sliced samples, making this one a serious heater for the dance.

With 'Introducing', we love nothing more than unveiling brand new talented artists. The latest is Weagle, a futuristic garage producer who's style we fell in love with as soon as we heard it. We are incredibly excited to welcome the fantastic sounds of Cortese to the extended STPT family. Having followed their process closely over the last few months, we were quickly on to them with an invite into the introducing set-up, with which we love nothing more than bringing Brighton based acts forward. At Southpoint, we are proud to represent so many different areas of underground UK dance music, with so many different elements now being thrown into the melting pot. The label's roots lay in grime, however, which is why we are so happy to be welcoming a brand new Brighton-based grime producer who goes by he name of El-Laurie. He arrives with a tailslide as we unveil a war-ready creation by the name of 'Foot Soldier'. It's a fantastic introduction to the team as El Laurie perfectly fuses the swampy bass textures of new school dubstep with raucous reese bass leads and super choppy drum textures, unleashing some serious energy into the dance.
