Following on from a fantastic debut release on the 'Introducing' platform, we are thrilled to be welcoming back the incredible sounds of Demure, who once again fuses his unique knowledge of foley and traditional sound design to unleash 'Square'. 

As far as ruckus-causing-140 originals go, this one is right up there with the best of them as we are greeted by a fiery combination of lethal horn stabs, system busting subs and quirky melodic synthesiser action. This is one that will be sending the dances into absolute chaos come the end of lockdown!

Continuing to expand and grow the Southpoint collective is always a priority for the team, with this latest pair of recruits being an act we have had long-term respect for. 

We are therefore thrilled to be welcoming the dynamic duo of Vital Techniques to the collective for their debut single, H'old Me Down'. Over the years we have heard the pair divulge into numerous different areas of sound, with this grimey yet melodic creation, almost encapsulating the full range of their production experience within one juicy original. 

We are thrilled to have the boys joining us and can't wait to see what else lays ahead.

Why Stay (prod.mvvi)

Rising star (and Fabric resident) Fish joins forces with Lucent, dropping this hotly anticipated single featuring contemporary bass with UK Funky percussion. So Strong has been a staple of many DJ’s sets for a while and has become a firm fan favourite.

Leading the way with remixes, up-and-comer Wheeto delivers a crushing Bassline rework introducing a higher tempo upfront feel while working in original elements.

Ali Mck and Jhuttz follow, driving their version in a deeper and more moody direction taking reference from early 2000s Grime and Sublow. These guys are tipped as ones to watch out for in the near future!

Setting the standard for what we aim to deliver through this project, we present our first release coming from Fork and Knife & Blvckmore 

Fittingly named, Proof Of Concept offers formidable evidence that our process works, and very well at that. Starting with an 8 bar loop from Fork and Knife, a man with a firm standing in the Grime/Funky scene, the multi-talented Blvckmore had no problem helping build it into the shape it holds today. Once the idea was laid out the pair worked hard infusing their styles to create a hard hitting beat with dark bass throughout.
