A selector since the young age of 13 years old, to Italian maestro STRAAW electronic music is second nature. With noteworthy backing from figures such as Plastik Funk, R3HAB, Lucas & Steve, Mike Williams and more, his artistic project, only launched in 2019 and committed to exploring the realms of deep house, is proving a mighty successful venture. 

Collaborator and fellow Italian EMMA LX is a well-established singer and songwriter within dance and pop circles. STMPD, Heartfeldt and Spinnin’ are just some of the renowned record labels her work has been signed to and now Smash Deep can be added to her ever-growing catalogue. 

With two creative forces at hand, it’s no surprise that ‘Roses’ is a dancefloor-ready hit. A deep house bassline groove sets a sultry ambiance and dynamic piano keys play a dominant role as the track progresses. The up-tempo melody and EMMA LX’s playful vocal topliner, laced with rapid electro sequences, leaves a lasting impression from this first spin and lives up to the flirtatious nature that ‘Roses’ possesses.
