Artur Sendlak (aka Sendlak ) was born in Tychy town in southern Poland. His adventure with music has started when he first got his hands in a simple two-channel mixer and turntable. Despite all odds and lack of experience, he was very eager to learn and make his own mixes. In time came the opportunities and he met lots of passionate people from the Dj circle who helped him develop his skills by sharing their ‘trade secrets’ that Sendlak was quick to practice, implement and build upon.

Bio: Yuri was born on the 17th of January 1979 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Music has always been a part of his life since childhood. He began studying the violin at the age of six. He took piano lessons and he is a self-taught drummer. The year of 2002 Yuri entered the world of producing electronic music. Influenced by many musical genres found his sound. “Over the past few years I’ve just been working” he says, “trying to find that sound.”

https://soundcloud.com/roccacocca is an artist based in Lyon, France. She began her music career in early 2007 with a series of events before headlining the DnB stage. From here she went on to tour clubs across supporting artists such as Calyx&Teebee, Noisia, The Prototypes or The Qemists.

Having gone as far as she felt she could go in the DnB scene she has left the deep & dark territory behind to focus her energies on Techno and Progressive. She delivers an industrial sound with a slight touch of darkness, but the essence is the story line that comes within her music. What Rocca Cocca loves so much about techno is that there is so much depth in it, she feels like it’s not just sounds combined but it’s an unexplained feeling that you can only understand when you know Progressive.

In January 2019 she became an international resident of The Lab Sessions in Bogota, Colombia. Recently she had the opportunity to accompany during the Worakls Orchestra Tour. All her latest mixes are in the top 3 of the Techno Chart France & Minimal Global Mixcloud in a set with top DJs like Adam Beyer & Chris Liebing. Rocca Cocca plays all her shows exclusively on vinyl and all sets are always high energy with big deep bass lines and big dirty breaks that pack some serious punch. Each of her shows is a journey and crossing from Melodic Techno, Acid Techno, Progressive, Tech House & Deep House.

For our 30th volume of the BLVSH series, let’s welcome Redfreya (@redfreya) from London!

Redfreya started out her DJ career a few years ago with the London based Sisu Crew (@sisu_crew - a female empowerment techno collective) and now holds a monthly residency on Bloop London Radio, curating deep, melodic and emotive soundscapes. 

Her usual sound profile links deep house, melodic tech, ambient, groovy minimal and dub techno to create an emotive storytelling arch through her sets. 

However, for her BLVSH mix she says: "I decided to switch things up in this mix, and get into a very Berlin mindset, imagining a panorama bar vibe with my track selection, and creating something that is much more intense than what I usually play - I'd describe this mix as smooth, deep and hypnotic. I think diversity is essential for any DJ, to be adaptable to different crowds, atmospheres and hours of the day - but I hope you will also hear the melodic and emotional elements of my signature style in this mix.”
