Marshall Does Not Exist

The fifth song of the 10 song journey, which was created to replicate my mental state during a dirt bike wreck. This song is replicating those hours I spent beside my bike, paralyzed in shock, all alone at night in the side of the dirt road, my mind trying to process that I might just die that day. June 13th, 2017 to be exact. I hope this song brings up a different experience to you, as this album is made from my experiences...for you.

I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream

AAAANNNNNDDD...the sixth song of the 10 song journey! We have here, a song about...literally the title. It's more of a general song, but its made to make you wonder and wander in your mind, to think about experiences and how/why they effect you. Love to all who listen, thank you for listening.

My Mind Wanders

Just a happy song in the midst of the rather scary and emotional tracks, this one is more for thinking back on happy thoughts and old times, to incite nostalgia and to symbolize...through the pain and the sadness, there are happy times every now and then. The seventh of 10 tracks on the album.

If We Smile Too, They'll Forget We Hurt

And yet another happy song to incite nostalgia! This is the eighth track of 10 in the journey, and made to symbolize the happy memories and through all the perils and obstacles, there are good times ahead. I personally love this one for the feelings it makes you experience. Just listen to it and see if you feel what I feel (like I'm suddenly going to another time in my life where my worries are gone and I can relax in those times).

The Journey Home

Here's the second to last song of the album, ninth of 10 songs in the journey. This song...is easily one of the most painful on this album, summarizing the feelings of me and my best friend after she ended her life June 9th 2017. "I'm too young to die." and the rest of the song all are about our feelings, and how I hope she went when she ended herself. I hope you enjoy this, and have a good day.

Memento Mori

And here we are, the tenth of 10 tracks on this journey. This one is about life and it sums up the entire album and its purpose, how life has ups and downs, but when we die...its nothing to be afraid of. We may think, "I didn't think it would end like this." But hey, we all end somewhere and our time on earth and when we die, all are purposeful. This song adds up the magic of it all, but adds the sorrow of how each day we live (if you observe your day's core events, like eating, sleeping, etc)feels like a Moebius, a continuous loop caused by a rip in the fabric of time, in which there is no escape, a message from "My Mind Wanders". I hope this album really helped you, because it helped me to make and it was a fun journey. I look forward to much more of this with everyone who listens.

Here is a song I made ages ago I never released, back when I went under the moniker “We Are The Leaders”. I intended to make a kind of industrial, electronic kind of dubstep single man group when I was 17 but only ever made this one song. It's my best I believe. Enjoy!

I had a depressive episode where nothing felt right to me and everything hurt, and that lasted about three days...so, I finally made a song compromised of how I felt inside. Walking The Bifrost With You (Rebirth Remix)

Hey I bet you all thought I was dead, well truth is life was hard for me. I lost my mother April 17th of this year due to her cancer that she had since I was 10 years old finally killed her...this is going to be my last post as Strange Culture.

It's been a great ride being Strange Culture, but I feel like I need to leave this part of me behind where it belongs and move on to new things that don't remind me of bad times. S.C died young but it died with a purpose, just like my mother...she was needed elsewhere and so am I.

This song was made in tribute to her, and is an embodiment of her heart and soul in sound.

Hello, I'm just a run of the mill 20 year old who enjoys making music. I tend to lean towards dark and spooky ambient sounds, but I got a treat for everyone around here.
