Gabriel Le Mar is no stranger to to the #LSDFamily as part of Saafi Brothers, but he is legendary when it comes to his solo project. 
’Into Sonic States’ was produced entirely during global isolation while the earth was at a standstill for us all. The chance to bring new ideas and energy into the studio from travels, live performances and sharing special moments with our global music family was replaced with solitude and much one on one time in the studio. 

Gabriel Le Mar took this time to reach deep within for inspiration by reintroducing himself to his inner dialogue with music & sound, the result is something rather spectacular.
The tracks range from deep and hypnotic down/midtempo dub driven tracks to uplifting and smoothly flowing progressive chill out grooves with depth, while merging elements of hand played instruments such as guitar together with organic electronics.

Unfinished Empathy

This EP is a musical expression of the recent phase on our spiritual path. Shaktopaya (or Śāktopāya) is the middle stage on the way to eliberation, when the aspirant uses his mind and the energies (Shakti) to reach enlightenment. These compositions tell a story of a specific transcendental experience written intuitively into these notes. Unique arrangements try to describe the whole process of a journey: Starting from a meditative state getting slowly into Samadhi, then building up with immense intensity, reaching the peak of the bliss and coming down as a wondrous catharsis.

From the musical aspect it’s a special release for this young couple (Tomin & Emerencia) as this is the first EP ever of their project called Alpha Hypnotica. Intricate ideas and melodies here have been produced mostly with analog synths and acoustic instruments such as koshi or rainstick. Combining these with own-recorded sounds from nature and orchestral elements this unique deep and mystic atmosphere is created, which pervades all the recordings. Comprehensive textures and dynamic vertical energies indicate that understanding of the Universal Consciousness with the mind is nearly impossible.

'Singles, Remixes and Rarities' brings together a diverse collection of Astral Waves tracks from the 1990s to the early 2000s, a period widely considered as the golden age of Goa trance.

This compilation of rare material features a broad range of styles, from classic Goachill tracks to more experimental, boundary-pushing trancey sounds. Each track is a journey in itself, with soaring synth lines, thumping basslines, and mesmerizing rhythm patterns.

Here is the brand new album from Astral Waves, aka DJ Zen.

Altar Records offers you a trip to the land of the Thousand and One Nights with "La Danse de la Lune" (Moon Dance).
This album is natural, organic with a lot of instrumentation. Almost all of the instruments were recorded in the studio between 2015 and 2020, specifically to create the unique and groovy vibe of this album.
You may recognize some song names here, already released in compilations. They have been completely reworked here.

The work on this album was considerable: it took 5 years to achieve it in order to be satisfied with the results...It played in Astral Waves live sets at outdoor festivals in Canada and Europe and received many positive feedback. Gaudi really liked "Lullaby for the Godchild" at Samsara 2018.

All the thanks go to the fabulous artists who put their hands in the dough: Project Æolia on the flute, DJ Parhladji aka Patrick Bernard and Lydia on vocals, Rachel on the flute on track # 5, Elea for the vocals and instruments in the remixes as well as Sufi's Life and Merlin also for their composition work. A big thanks to Amani Friend from Desert Dwellers for his trust and patience as well as Louis from Suduaya for his amazing guitar play on track # 5.

Strange Substance is a psychedelic music project by Corné Sluiter from the Netherlands.
He is making electronic music since the late 90's in a wide variety of styles.
In 2013 he started the Strange Substance project, psychedelic music in styles like ambient,psychill,psydub,psytrance and drum&bass.
