The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Brutalismus 3000. One of our favorite Berlin projects returns with a new track on the upcoming DURCH v/a compilation: Solidarity 002 - A Love Letter To The Queer Community. DURCH is a queer collective with a clear vision of solidarity and community building. DURCH operates in Tel Aviv and Berlin trying to bring queer people together, building a culture of inclusion, diversity and tolerance. In the tradition of original raves DURCH organizes solidarity events ranging from parties, to art and community events, with the strong belief that raves are a much needed place for people to come together, celebrate their diversity and learn to respect each other.

After releasing their first v/a earlier in the year, The are back with their second solidarity release of the year: Bolder, queerer and definitely more fun than ever. Take a bit of everything, mix it together and then burn it all down. Building on our previous release DURCH [digital] Solidarity 002 features some well established artists alongside some exciting, well-kept secrets of the electronic dance music scene. You’re in for a bumpy ride and a couple of pretty nasty surprises on the way. Today we bring you the nu gabber post techno punk of "Satan Was a BabyBoomer". 

As always, the proceeds from the release go to Queer causes and this release will benefit TransInterQueer e.V. (TrIQ) and Casa Kuà. Out on April 16th and you can get yours on BANDCAMP.

"I originally started as a radio-host at the Bruges-based radio station Villa Bota. There, I tried to focus on deconstructive, distorted pop-sounds, but over time I evolved into a DJ who isn't afraid to push the limits of genres. In the last few months, my mixing style has never remained the same. Even though I'm spinning at 200 BPM, with a full focus on my decks, playing Gabber is pure mental peace for me. As a person with ADHD, I can really lose myself in the sometimes euphoric-sounding melodies with underlying fast Tekno kicks. 

An important project I am working on are the ‘BPM'-events where I want to give opportunities to new, young talent to jump on stage together with more experienced DJs. A gig at 'BPM' is an experience that can be eye-opening for young DJs and a boost to their careers."

Christian Cambas is back and celebrates his return with an original track on one of his favorite labels.

Keeping things totally subliminal with a haunting melody and an apocryphal vocal snippet, we are kept locked in via the pulsating bass and commanding synths that seem to have been programmed in some kind of dismal future.

A remix from label boss T78 was essential to this release, and the original has been completely flipped on its head, with a big surprise halfway through, as only he knows how. Another brother-in-arms from the other side of the pond is up next, and of course we are talking about Durtysoxxx who based his version on the synth progressions and provided the heads-down vibe of the package.

UK duo Drumsauw seal the deal with a spacious mix, letting their rendition breathe effortlessly while keeping the production crystal clear.
