Hello everyone ! We are back from summer holidays with a special guest mix by Robert Heise aka The Exaltics ! For over 20 years by now Robert is a part of the electronic music scene. He founded the project The Exaltics in 2006 as well as the electro/ techno label SolarOneMusic with his long term friend Nico Jagiella. Since then he published countless 12"s and several LP's with labels like Clone, Crème Organization, Bunker or his own label Solar One Music and worked during that time with outstanding artists like Drexciya´s Gerald Donald, Helena Hauff or ERP for example. He turned his deep cinematic and most of all charismatic electro into his own trademark. Another signature are his special dark driven Acid Techno. During his intense live performances Robert present his unique version of electro and acid music. So, we are very pleased and happy to share The Exaltics guest mix. Enjoy !

LeBlonde is a Canadian electro producer hailing from Montreal, whose innovative sound fuses the timeless essence of Classic electro with the hard-hitting rhythms of Detroit electro. 

Since 2020, LeBlonde has been crafting his sound using a variety of hardware synths, combining melodic elements with funky, old-school electro influences. His music pulses with energetic beats, but also offers depth and complexity that can engage the intellectual listener, making it as thought-provoking as it is danceable.

In addition to his solo work, LeBlonde has teamed up with his Belgian partner, Cédric, to form the electronic duo Conkordat. The pair share a vision of pushing the boundaries of electro while honoring its rich history. Together, they are also the founders of Conkordance Records, a label set to release a diverse and exciting range of projects in 2025, further solidifying their impact on the global electro scene.

With his infectious energy, signature sound, and commitment to creating authentic, forward-thinking music, LeBlonde is steadily making his mark on the world of electronic music.

K' Alexi Shelby is a prominent figure in electronic music and with a career spanning decades, he's established a significant influence on House and Techno. Throughout his career he's worked with many well-known artists and remixed tracks that are now key pieces. The cultivation of his massive musical catalogue has overflowed into albums and the three labels he heads. It's also led to legendary collaborations with artists such as The Pet Shop Boys, Robert Owens, Kenny Dixon, Roy Davis Jr., Maurice Joshua, Terry Hunter, Joe Smooth, Steve Silke Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Ron Trent, Glenn Underground, Larry Heard, DJ Pierre, Carl Craig, Felix da Housecat, Marshall Jefferson, Will Smith and countless others. Already respected around the world as a true underground House legend, it will be cemented further on listening to his deep and sexy opener "Flame".

A geek at heart with a passion for music, Marc has forged his sound universe over the decades. He grew up listening to the melodies of Prince, before being drawn into the Hip-Hop culture of the '90s. At the dawn of the 2000s, he plunged into the bubbling world of electronic music, a revelation that marked a decisive turning point in his career. From Detroit Techno to Richie Hawtin's experimentation, Josh Wink's raw energy, Gary Beck's power, James Holden's finesse and Laurent Garnier's eclecticism, his influences are many and shape his musical identity. With "Qui Peut Le Plus", he pays homage to these influences, blending hypnotic rhythms, deep textures and characteristic rises in tension. His approach both in the studio and behind the decks is a perpetual quest: to thrill, surprise and convey the raw emotion of electronic music.

The flip-side is headed by Detroit legend, DJ Bone. It's no accident that those two letters always precede Bone's name, because first and foremost he is a DJ - in the truest sense. When he spins, it's as if the turntables and the mixer become a physical extension of his body. From his standing room only residency performances to after-hours spots, he rocks every show as if it's his last. DJ Bone spins as much for his own enjoyment as he does for the audience. His dedication to the art of dance music and DJing is untainted and intense. Producer and manager of Slates Records, Squal G is a French artist who has been passionate about electronic music since the '90s. Initially he practised his art as a DJ, but a few years later finally turned to machines and computers. This enabled him to progress with his production and remixes. He never tries to stick to a single style, which, depending on his inspiration, can lead him to be more or less hard, while remaining in the spirit of techno. Having delivered "Waiting 4U" last year and "Face" in January, he's back for round three, with closing track "Parallel Sound".

Fue el primer set que sonó en la zona de día en todo el finde. Me gustaría contar que fue todo un éxito de baile pero no fue así, la peña andaba en un mood mental y físico más estático, lo normal y comprensible siendo las 11 de la mañana; Elegí mal la música para el momento, no tuve el talento para acertar a ese respecto cuando la preparé por lo que me tuve que conformar con que "solo" se escuchara (en el pecado se suele llevar la penitencia). Dicho lo cual son temazos todos y cada uno de ellos y por supuesto que está mezclada flama flama, como siempre que soy yo el que pincha que sus pensáis. 

Iba a sacar la playlist pero me ha parecido un pateo. Track id? y voy. Son tracks de estos que, como el 99% de lo que salen son temazos pero no himnos, rara vez nos encontramos ya con esa pista que será recordada para siempre por todos, y no lo digo en plan polla vieja si no todo lo contrario; sale tanta música tan buena que un temazo oculta al otro y así constantemente, no te cansas de escuchar nuevas ideas bien ejecutadas. Esta generación además de a elles, cuenta con la mejor música que se ha hecho jamás ( así es de siempre en esto de la electrónica, quien diga lo contrario solo la juzga por los recuerdos que le trae, o ha dejado de traerle).

It was the first set that was played in the day zone all weekend. I would like to say that it was a dance success but it was not so, the people were in a more static mental and physical mood, normal and understandable being 11 am; I chose the wrong music for the moment, I did not have the talent to get it right when I prepared it so I had to settle for “just” to be heard (in the sin is usually the penance). Having said that, each and every one of them is great and of course flama flama is mixed in, as always when I'm the one who plays what you think.
