Syrte is the Electro & Experimental Electronica alias for Stefan Weise. The name was inspired by the French comic book Valerian & Laureline, the German editions of which Stefan read in his younger days. On page one of the first issue, “The City of a Thousand Planets” is named “Syrte”. 

What started as a way to explore new production methods quickly evolved into a character of its own making Syrte a completely faceless entity with a strong focus on alien and experimental music. Syrte is not about conforming to a set genre or sound. Stefan’s mission as Syrte is about exploring deeper relationships that humans have with machines and moral implications that arise from that and expressing that via music.

Syrte is co-owner of Electro and Experimental label Science Cult.

Syrte - это не соответствие установленному жанру или звуку. Human Rebellion is a project based on a vision of a dystopian world where humans are in resistance against a global empire that has taken control. Totally dedicated to a powerful and energetic electro-techno based on futuristic sounds straight out of their analog and modular synthesizers. An atmosphere globally dark but also sometimes very deep and contrasted, composed of cold and percussive basslines, hypnotic arpeggios, sci-fi textures straight out of their modular and analog synths.

Bio:
GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started buying records and DJing in Dublin in 1996. He is a vinyl only DJ and record collector - Irish, currently based in London.
• He runs Warehouse Manifesto Records, having released two records in 2022:�- WMR001 is a limited edition picture disc featuring electro tracks released in digital format only previously on Bass Agenda Recordings�- WMR002 is also a picture disc with original material from Human Rebellion - the Inverted Universe ep.
• He curates the Warehouse Manifesto mix series which he started in 2021. Some of his guests to date include Umwelt, Ben Sims, Claude Young, Joey Beltram, Jensen Interceptor, Sync 24 and Alienata.
• Most notably, he supported The Prodigy, on their European tour in cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg in 2015-2016.
• Gamadon has previously had his mixes published by labels such as Archaic, Bass Agenda, Dark Science Electro, Gated, Gladio Operations, Nocta Numerica, Vortex Tracks, Distrito 91, Masa Series, Lepton, Hilltown Disco, Digital Distortions, Glory Berlin, Noise To Meet You, Zyrcadian Editions, Strange But Dance Music and Elektrodos.
