Discobelle Mix 012: Compuphonic

For many years I have been dreaming of combining electronics with organic instruments. The result of that attempt is finished and is called "Moonlight Project Vol.1", my first album as an artist, in which I had the luxury of returning to guitar, bass, piano and voice, and at the same time adding talented friends on the sax. , the violin, Andean instruments, and much more.

It's been a couple of years since i've done one of these, but with the amount of good music that's been released in 2013 i really couldn't resist putting in the effort. The tracks that made it in this mix are the ones that really stood out for me and managed to still sound fresh after many plays, i've decided not to approach this mix from a club perspective because i didn't want it to end up sounding like just another live recording. i've been working on the tracklist all year, so i hope you guys enjoy it even though i had to remove 4 tracks from the end as Ableton wouldn't let me bounce the project because it was too big... Hard to believe that another year has already passed by. Decided to mix another one of these on account of the fair amount of good music we've been blessed with this year. I've taken a different approach with this one. I'm usually very meticulous when it comes to compiling my mixes (last year's mix took me 8 months to put together) but i've decided to mix this one on the fly with no pre planned tracklist.
