This song began with JJ on a late Saturday night, coming up with it on the drums, bass, and organ. He even added some real triange, if you listen for it, you'll be delighted. He had a killer jazz groove on his mind when he composed it, and was able to really bring it to life on all levels. He originally wrote it as a solo piece, but asked Josh if he would like to add a guitar part. Josh jumped at the opportunity to play an original jazz song on his guitar, and in a few days, recorded more than 20 takes of it. He finally landed on the one you hear in here now. 

  They asked Stephen to mix, master, and produce it for them, which he did in his typically professional way.

  This was a fun, exciting collaboration, featuring just JJ and Josh, but the rest of the Eclectic Collective will be back with them next time. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

He is a keyboardist extraordinaire, a fantastic friend, and our main key tinkler and songwriter in our Eclectic Collective! J.J., if you listen to this, pay attention to the lyrics, brother! This is just a short sample of a blending test of the cool sounds on the mellotron instrument I use in GarageBand. If you’re not familiar with how a real mellotron works, it’s worth checking it out! Here's a very informative demo:

The acoustic guitar is played using a VST guitar on keyboard.
The mellotron sounds are:
  - flute / strings blend
  - cello / strings blend
  - male / female choir blend
  - boys / female choir blend
