Morning Haze

This soundscape is only made of household items.

To create this soundscape, I only used my mouth, some paper, an accordion and my shower.

The wind is made with the accordion valve, pumping air, and my mouth. I could modulate the strength of those sounds live, when recording.

The foliage is made with some paper shreds and streamers, being shaken.

The thunder is made with thick paper being torn, recorded close to the mic and slowed down by 5 octaves (speed it up you’ll see ;-). I also shaked and hit the paper sheet to get the low-end rumble.

I created individual leaves sounds with some pieces of paper.

Finally, the rain is a mix of my shower and a lot of small paper sounds processed in Sound Particles.

All sounds where mixed with a bit of natural reverberation and delay, to bring some air, nothing more.
