Flamingosis - Special

Recorded, written, and conceptualized by Coventry native Duke Keats, POST INTERNET is a genre-blurring EP shaped by the isolation of the global pandemic and steeped in the surreal, hyper-connected atmosphere of the modern digital age. Entirely built using machines and technology, the project is both a reflection and a critique of our era—defined by quick-fix fame, perpetual social media interaction, and the numbing rhythm of doom-scrolling.

Known for crafting layered, maximalist audio diaries, Duke Keats uses his full creative arsenal to sonically portray the life of a musician and actor caught in the post-internet world. Through his unique lens, the EP fuses nostalgia with futurism, mixing vintage aesthetics with contemporary sounds. Themes of hauntology, capitalism, identity, and the internet bleed into both the music and its surrounding visual world.

Blending electronic textures with shades of R&B, POST INTERNET creates a rich, immersive soundscape that expands on Duke’s evolving artistic universe. The EP also features a standout guest vocal performance from George Tuson (of Orphic), adding further depth to the sonic tapestry.

More than just a collection of songs, POST INTERNET is an audiovisual statement on existence in the digital afterglow—a world where memory, identity, and meaning are constantly in flux.
