"Windy" is one of the first songs I ever wrote & recorded in a professional studio over 25 years ago. I was only 15 (perhaps 16) at the time & was burdened to write a song in memory of my childhood friend, Windy Drumheller. "Windy" was the end-result. While a very simplistic song, it still tugs at my heart strings every time I play or hear it. The present version of "Windy" was recorded August 15-17, 2016 and includes several instruments (12-string guitar/mandolin guitar) that were absent from the original recording.
