What's Up Desert Hearts Family,

I'm very proud to release my 2 hour live set from Desert Hearts Festival 2019. The last couple of years I've really enjoyed playing the Saturday evening sunset from 6pm to 8pm. I love kicking off the 12 hour Desert Hearts Crew block and I get to play a bunch of day time music and bring the vibe into the night. Usually I'm completely immersed in the crowd by the time I go on, but this year I was having a particularly hard day riddled with anxiety for some reason. No matter what I did I just couldn't shake the anxiousness and it rocked me to my core. I don't normally have anxiety so it kicked my ass so hard I almost didn't think I could play. I somehow talked myself into heading to the stage and as soon as I plugged in my first USB I knew I had complete control over the crowd and the vibe. As soon as I pressed play on my first track, I felt completely on fire and felt the anxiety wash away immediately. This was my house and my time to play for my family. I'd never felt more comfortable playing music and it led to one of my favorite sets I've ever played. Hope you guys enjoy!

What's up Desert Hearts Family?

We are so excited to drop Porky's live set from the festival this year. It was a definite crowd favorite, and he was in his ultimate element from the very first track.

After taking some time off traveling, Porky came back slugging away with the heaters, mixing between his eclectic tastes in music of throwbacks, special edits, and tripped out tech that set the tone as the sun went down Saturday evening.

This is a journey to the black roots of my musical soul. Me connecting with my roots in such a way that the trip is no longer about living with the environment but with myself. Now the deep knowledge of oneself leads us to be wise of our being, to have an awareness of ourselves and thus we become more attractive beings for what we know as surroundings. 
My taste for music starts with Africa, with Brazil, Cuba and with Jazz and the Blues of the South of United States.
