I've been really excited to use the Teto voicebank since finding out she'd come to Synth V last year - she was one of my favourite Utau / Vocaloid girls growing up, stuff like Triple Baka and Fukkireta were part of the sound of my college days!

So yeah, while I was making this track Aretha Franklin died. Which sucks - world lost an incredible singer.

The sampled track is "Only Star", from the "La Diva" album (1979). Not typical of her (another big name caught up by the disco craze of the time), but a banger nonetheless! Hope you enjoy - and if you like producing Future Funk or any other sample genre, or just want to know more, why not take this chance to explore her back catalogue?
