Stray Suns is composed of four musicians with one goal in mind: to play music that touches people's lives. They want to be “the show you must experience" versus “the band with those songs."

Genre bending is Stray Suns' calling card. Their influences range from soul (James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding), jazz and blues (Derek Trucks, Eric Clapton, B.B. King), jam and reggae (Dave Matthews Band, Ziggy Marley), older alternative rock (Stone Temple Pilots, Blind Melon, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and newer alternative rock (Mumford and Sons, Big Wreck, Jack White). 

The amalgamation of influences can be heard in each show the band plays. While each song is crafted to have a life of its own, the shows come together as a singular musical experience—both varying and unpredictable.
