It was a pleasure to work on this song, especially with trying out Amy as a singer! I had to make this song as a project for my songwriting class, but I ended up polishing it up a little differently and with a vocaloid singer so I can release it here as well.

This song has been a long work in progress, ever since January. When I first started it, I really just wasn't happy with whatever I was making at the time, and I couldn't convey the message I wanted. After scrapping everything several times, I finally got this final version, and hope that you can all enjoy it as well. 

This song is a tribute to Avalia-Kasa, who was a dear friend and fellow producer. Avy passed away in a car accident on December 30th 2018, right after she had created a small discord server to inspire positivity among a few other friends. She was determined to make sure that we all finished our projects and helped each other get more positive mindsets, and I hope that with this song it may bring some peace to others. Although you may feel pain or guilt from having lost someone in your life, and although the road to recovery and healing may seem long, it will get better. Things will be okay, and there will eventually be a day when you can be reunited again.

【UTAU Original】Requiem of a Falling Star【Alphelia English -redux-】

I've been sitting on this remix for a few weeks kind of unsure when would be a good time to post it, since the original is fairly dear to me and I wanted to be able to do it justice. As someone who grew up listening to metal and rock music, I was instantly in love with the EP this song comes from, and it really made me wish I was able to make those kinds of compositions. Eventually, I decided to try and mesh what I liked about the original with a genre I'm more comfortable with- 80's synthwave. I arranged all of this by ear, so I hope that it turned out alright and that you all can enjoy it! Be sure to go and follow Sam Wright and listen to his music, it's some really great stuff!

This is my November song upload for my compositional project!

This song is meant to have a forlorn sound, as it tells the story of someone who believes they are the only one left alive after a world-ending natural disaster. One day, they find a radio device that still works, and for the first time, they hear someone else's voice on the other side. They begin to talk to each other, enjoying the company of someone else after months, years of loneliness. Then, one day, their companion stops responding, but they continue to ask them how they are every day, until the end. 

This is a bit different than my other pieces this year, but I really wanted to focus on the ambience and the feel that the song gives off on this one rather than the lyrics, or song structure. I hope that you enjoy this work!
