T4T LUV NRG is about to rock your stereo this spring with a sequel to the label’s first release “Raving Disco Breaks Vol. I” (2018). Eris Drew wanted to create a new sound for the second volume of her acclaimed mixtape series instead of simply retracing the pure disco vibes of the original. Setting her sights and intentions on creating a rock ‘n’ roll infected house mix, Eris worked on building crates for the last five years, finally reaching an inflection point—a moment of concrescence—when she was ready to put the needle on the records and let the beats flow. “Rock The House” was born, a concept for Volume II built from musical fragments, memories, and synchronicities. There are no classic Big Beat tunes on Volume II, instead Eris kicks out the jams for this mix with non-stop house and breaks cuts featuring plenty of rockin’ vocal vamps, as well as the likes of Janis Jopin, Joe Strummer, Ramones, and Led Zeppelin—all sampled, scratched and dropped along the way. Both sides of the mix include some of her most personally coveted recordings. To gather these records, Eris spent decades identifying tracks from older mix cassettes recorded by her DJ heroes, such as Terry Mullan and Mystic Bill, as well as discovering many of the featured tracks through happenstance and countless hours digging through dusty bins and YouTube rips. Each of the tracks on Volume II are at least 20 years old—some much older—but fresh is the word here, and the word is freeeesh!

Now, as the snow melts and the flowers of rave romance start to bloom, T4T wants to know one thing…Are U ready to rock right?

We asked Equador and David O' Dowda to rework Tiny Leaves - You'll be Okay which was originally released by Pegdoll for Piano Day 2017.

Equador are Henry Binns (Zero 7) and Bo Bruce who with their recent album Bones of Man tasted success with a no 1 on the iTunes UK electronic chart as well as recent appearances on CBS 'Elementary', MTV Catfish and NFL 2016. David O’Dowda is an Irish composer and multi-instrumentalist living in Manchester. He has composed music and songs that have been used worldwide on various films, television promos, programs and advertising including Homelands, The Walking Dead, ‘Netflix Originals’ ‘Hot Girls Wanted’ to name a few.

The infectious Equador sound entices musical osmosis alongside the original composition. Bo Bruce's reflective words and ability to find strength of melody syncs perfectly with Henry Binns' subtle production, increasing perceptual fluency with each Equador release.

David O'Dowda lays down a raw retrospective on the plight of refugees, instilling hope, whilst amplifying the need to acknowledge other humans. An emotive subject matter draws the listener in, highlighting the lyrical content and vocal beauty.

As with the original recordings 'You'll Be Okay Reworked' might not save the world but it will evoke nostalgia for the future.

Tiny Leaves recommences his musical journey with Pegdoll in October 2017 delivering his next album 'Notes on Belonging'.

Through two decades of countless offerings to the electronica world, two ARIA awards (with band members of Australian live act Infusion, whom are responsible for hit releases such as "Girls Can Be Cruel", "Natural" and "Better World”), collaborations and remixes with the world's most revered artists, performing on the grandest of all stages (Womb [Tokyo], Fabric [London] and other venues in places as far-flung as New York, Singapore, Moscow, Copenhagen and Taipei), Jamie’s most recent EP releases are a true indication that Mr Stevens has matured into a sophisticated artist with depth and consistency. Recent releases and projects include remixes for Guy J's "Lost & Found" label, Jeremy Olander's "Vivrant", a new original track for Dale Middleton's "Tarnished Tracks", an EP for "Crossfrontier Audio” (along with being a key contributor to the label’s new "Mentor Initiative”, which helping shape the local Australian artist talent, truly assisting in developing the countries house and techno young promising producers and composers) plus slowly working away on an album for microCastle.

Recorded on DAT by Robin Turner.

The jump into Boops at 27.52 is because the DAT was removed in order for Tom and Ed to play music they'd made in the studio that week (instrumental of Life is Sweet often got played around this time). Any record jumps were caused by people banging into the decks, or pogoing! (I'm guilty as charged in Voodoo People). Last record cuts off due to the DAT running out.
