With an unlikely blend of self deprecation and weltschmerz, Stretchy explores the ins and outs of his mental illness, substance abuse and an indifferent world in which he struggles to relate to. With influences ranging from progressive rock, such as the likes of Karnivool (AUS), Dead Letter Circus (AUS) and Tool (USA), Electronica and Future Bass from Flume (AUS), to Hermitude (AUS), to San Holo (Denmark), as well as a wide plethora of hip hop from all over the globe, notably Jam Baxter (UK), Horrorshow (AUS), The Herd (AUS), Futuristic (USA), Watsky (USA) and NF (USA).
