Story
Swedish Mythology... The Guardian of Skogsriket... a Swedish legend between worlds
In the eternal forests of Skogsriket, the Forest Kingdom where birch trees whisper ancient secrets and lakes reflect stars long dead, lived Alvkar, a young hunter born under the ice moon. His lineage was said to be blessed by Freya, goddess of love and war, and his destiny was intertwined with the great cosmic tree Yggdrasil, whose roots touched the nine worlds.

One winter night, while hunting silently, Alvkar found a luminous stone in the heart of the forest. It was Ögonsten, the Eye of the Gods, a gem dropped from Asgard during a battle between Thor and the cosmic wolf Fenrir. Upon touching it, Alvkar saw visions of Ragnarök, the end of the world, and heard the voice of Odin: “The balance is broken. The forest must awaken.”

Guided by the forest spirits, the Skogsrå, female guardians of the trees, Alvkar embarked on a journey north, to where the ice never melts. There he found Järnälva, an iron elf forged by the dwarves of Nidavellir, who guarded the Horn of Vakar, capable of summoning the ancient Swedish heroes: Starkad, the cursed warrior; Ingjald, the fire-king; and Blenda, the maiden who cunningly defeated an army.

Together, they formed the Väktare av Skogsriket, the Guardians of the Forest Realm, and confronted Mörkskugg, a shadow born of human fear, which grew in the forgotten corners of Midgard. In the final battle, under a total eclipse, Alvkar blew the Horn of Vakar, and the ancient heroes awoke, fighting alongside the gods in a dance of fire, ice, and thunder.

When the shadow was vanquished, Yggdrasil blossomed with golden leaves, and the gods offered Alvkar a place among the stars. But he chose to remain, becoming the new Skogskonung, the King of the Forest, protector of myths, animals, and the dreams of men.
