Rain – an experiment with AI support using my original lyrics. Here are 18 different versions in different genres of the same song, some in different languages. I chose Ukrainian, Vietnamese, German, Dutch and Russian as well as English because on Soundcloud they are the countries which seem to have the most plays. I hope that the translations are ok!

The song lyrics are about the normal person trying to be in, or save, a relationship. Everyone should have a chance. And what can go wrong if you make your move too soon….I suppose a similar theme to “Something Stupid” by Frank and Nancy Sinatra.

This was an interesting project which shows how one set of lyrics can be used in such different ways. Part of the motivation is also to see how people respond to the different versions on SoundCloud where my music has a lot of plays, and see which versions and which languages are the most popular.

Our first release on Motek for 2020 and it is a big one. Having delivered two huge remixes for the label, Martin Landsky is back with three track original EP 'Attitude' which includes Original and Acid Mix of the title track, and b-side 'Leipzig House'.

Attitude is perfect for finding your dance floor feet. Full of classic House orchestration from the warm keys texture, the bouncy bass line and 808 style hats. The track has added mystery within its lead line which adds contrast to the mix and is finished with the spoken vocal. The Acid Mix of Attitude is darker and brings more weight, perfect for the later hour. The sharp acid lead cuts through a production still steeped in groove and syncopation. A mix to get in your own zone and get lost too. Leipzig House as with the original of Attitude also has strong classic Deep House sounds. Inside Is Nothing At All is the 2nd track to see the light of day from the collaboration between Lopezhouse and Eleonora. David López and Carlos Cruz make up Lopezhouse, whose releases on Dirtybird, Solumun’s Diynamic and John Digweed’s Bedrock have thrust them into the upper echelons of the scene. The Russian born Eleonora (Eleonora Zaripova) has built her own reputation for excellence since beginning to release music in 2017 - her compositions touching on drone, trip hop and cold wave among other things.  Here she co-writes the track and provides the vocals for the haunting Inside Is Nothing At All.  

The main version combines elements of dark synth pop with a crisp, contemporary, dancefloor-ready sound. 

The production is clean and precise, but full of melancholy touches that match perfectly with Eleonora’s emotive vocals.The Inside Edit primes the track for a wider audience, while the instrumental gives space to the lush arrangement for the dancers and DJs.
