Hailing from Saint Petersberg (Russia), the extremely talented Jiminy Hop made his initial appearance on our imprint in early 2021 with his single - "Tension" and soon afterwards followed it up with a milestone 3-tracker EP featuring "Summered", "Contemplation" and "Desire", an ode to the the melody-rich side of progressive house with it's bright tones and ethereal emotions. After garnering wide-spread support, we're thrilled to present our 54th release that features new remixes of the EP by label returnees - Eric Lune, Dimuth K and Anton MAKe.

Returning to the imprint after his debut EP and contribution to our 'Tales of Time' series in 2019 is Melbourne (Australia) based artist - Eric Lune. Ever since, he's been consistently putting out incredible music, most notably on Madloch's 'Sound Avenue' + '3rd Avenue', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank' and the US Goliath 'Proton Music'. Revisiting Jiminy Hop's title track - "Summered", Eric Lune channeled his inner sun-kissed memories and elevated the track into a whole new dimension by bringing in as many euphoric feelings, highlighted by a 90's inspired lead and guitar riff.

Andrea Cassino's association with Particles stretches back to an August 2011 remix of Alessando Diga. A further six reworkings have graced the Particles catalogue while original music in the shape of 2017's "Divine", 2020's "Losing Part of Me" and October 2021's "Asante" have graced Proton Music. Having previously made a name for himself as one half of the Cassino and Laben duo, the Italian born artist now returns to Particles with a typically powerful remix of "Salvage". Driving forwards with a dynamic 16th note bass pattern, white noise washes and clicking, popping percussion lay the foundation for the sumptuous melodic phrasing from Travis Jesse's original to flow across the near 9-minute interpretation. Familiar refrains continue to please while Cassino's trademark sonic layering and silky-smooth pads add elegance and class in bountiful measures.

Joep Mencke, one of the happies campers of them all, and his soul-propelling masterpiece, Asiri, is the perfect piece of music to usher in the Spring. “Music takes me on a journey. A journey that makes me want to close my eyes and wander off to wherever the melodies take me,” Joep has been quoted as saying. The first release on Nikko.Z's Dopamine White finds Christopher Fafa launching the label with a new single entitled ‘Fourty'. Acting as a companion to Dopamine Music, the White division will focus on progressive music's freshest up and coming talent with an emphasis on quality and creativity. Already a member of the Dopamine family, Christopher Fafa provides the inaugural ‘White' release alongside a remix from Lucas Rossi. 

Beginning with the original mix Christopher aims squarely at a peak time progressive minded dance floor. Warm beats and a fluid low end power the foundation while astral stabs and organic drums provide rhythm and swing. Devilish hypnotic, wispy effects adorn the framework as smooth chord changes shift gears into more emotive territory. The main break melts down to the synth elements for a spacey yet tension filled interlude, perfectly setting up a smooth finale. Christopher has also included a second version entitled the ‘Age Is Only Numbers' Mix, which has the groove open up and the drums play a more prominent role in the narrative. The emotive response elicited from the original is very much present here as well, with gorgeous chord changes and melodic fragments working in harmonic unison. 

The release concludes with Lucas Rossi providing the lone interpretation of ‘Fourty'. With a discography that includes appearances on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Antrim's Or Two Strangers, the Hernan Cattaneo favourite now lands on Dopamine White with an amazing remix of ‘Fourty'. Anchored by a warm, rippling groove and detailed percussion, there's a smooth yet electric mood from the outset. Like most Lucas Rossi productions space and flow are at a premium, with tranquil arps and tepid tones sitting in a perfect sonic marriage, before the main break adds a quirky flair, setting up a purring finale. A super remix from Lucas which caps off what is an auspicious start for Nikko.Z's Dopamine White, who look to be an ideal companion for the long running Dopamine Music.

onedotsixtwo keeps the worldwide progressive flame burning bright in 2020 with its latest release, bringing together the finest talent from 3 continents. Renowned Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Sebastian Busto makes his label debut with December and The Miracle, and the label enlists the remix talents of Dmitry Molosh, Zankee Gulati and Lèrr to create an array of stunning interpretations across another exceptional 5-track onedotsixtwo package.

The pulsating energy of December is immediately mesmerising as Sebastian Busto creates the perfectly beautiful dreamy atmosphere that he is renowned for. Elegantly layered melodies float and flow with flawless precision, as his unique musical vision is showcased magnificently. Following on, The Miracle dives deeper with a wonderfully evocative percussive groove and equally blissful melodic layering that, once again, perfectly displays this Argentine artist’s immense talents to perfection. Having previously released on the likes of Balkan Connection, The Soundgarden and Movement, Sebastian Busto’s onedotsixtwo debut will be a 2020 highlight for sure.

The first December remix comes from Belarusian DJ/Producer Dmitry Molosh. Celebrated for his inimitable progressive sound, Dmitry is at the forefront of the new wave of the current scene as one of its most talented forward thinking electronic artists. His stunning remix is fuelled with funk and fire to create an utterly enthralling ride fuelled with rising anticipation and spine-tingling euphoric elation. 

Through his love of exploring progressive realms of music, the Sydney-based Australian DJ/Producer Zankee Gulati is rapidly making his mark on the scene. A blossoming production career has already seen him exhibit his immense talents on the likes of Clinique, Soundteller, Particles, Visceral, Balkan Connection, and most recently, The Soundgarden. His remix of December has seen exclusive early support from Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident radio show, and it is easy to see why. Deeply hypnotic and with a wonderfully intricate arrangement this is masterfully melodic music of the highest order.

Completing this expansive 5-track package is an utterly blissful remix of The Miracle courtesy of Lèrr. This Montenegrin DJ/Producer is recognised for his unique style combining groovy, deep, melodic, progressive vibes. His enchanting musical creations have appeared on Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue, Asymmetric, Trndmsk and more so far in 2020, and his deeply delicious reworking of The Miracle stands out as one of his finest yet.
