We are happy to welcome the american techno-machine Monix, who boils it down with the 'Nervepusher' EP. His explosive and hypnotic sound is produced mostly analog and stands for techno true-to-the-bone! Coming to light with two originals and a remix by the eclectic duo 'The Welderz' from france, this release represents straight underground techno!

'Nervepusher A' starts straight-forward with broad bassdrums, noises and the severe synth-theme, which the track circles around. Analog bleeps press forward and a single snare concretes the tracks hypnotic simplicity. The theme dives front and back and the sharp offbeat-accentuation gets backed up by propelling hi-hat staccatos for maximum impact! 

Follow-up 'Nervepusher B' takes off with a mighty beatstructure, crackling noises and stoic synthstabs, which form the tracks hypnotizing theme. Rattling percussions make tension at the right time, while the main-synths dig itself out of the dark further and further to climax at the break! 

The french techno-stalwarts 'The Welderz' put hands on 'Nervepusher B' and restructured it with ethereal and ravey ingredients! Bulbous bassdrums make constant pressure and dirty snares form a propelling rhythm while snappy hihats press forward! Sonaresque synths clink around, when bright 909 rides appear on the scene to reinforce the rework's forward-orientation. As soon as the beatstructure dismantles, an ethereal pad shoves itself in the foreground and screams for more!

In conclusion the 'Nervepusher EP' comes along as a raw and hypnotic package, and represents Drowne Records love for pure underground music. I reaches from harsh underground spirit to ethereal vibes for the mainfloor, and illustrates how challenging techno can be!
