“Here I created the drums first, using a combination of different breaks and fills to get a richly syncopated rhythm. I used a Rhodes emulation for the chords, to bring on that sense of emotion, and I love the last one in particular. It creates suspension between the rest, making it the charm of the track in my opinion. The vocal comes from the movie New Jersey Drive, and I cut it to match the rhythm section.” - DJ

Windy Plains was the very first track produced for this album and according to Ly Sander probably the most characteristic one. It is built around the very specific double bass played by founder of the Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp’s own Vincent Bertholet. An early version of the album contained almost solely tracks stemming out of this collaboration. The current version is a mix with solely Windy Plains, Transcontinental Hippies and Our Spirit Runs Deep left. Nevertheless, the ultimate strength of Vincent Bertholet resides in his ability to build very unique atmospheres on the fly. Yep, all three tracks were recorded out of improvisation in the same session. A swiss invented percussive instrument completes the atmosphere, the hang!

Sixième épisode de la série Spacy Dust et premier artiste pour cette nouvelle année 2024 ! C'est No Whr, du collectif nantais Parhélie qui s'y colle avec notamment sa dernier track sortie récemment sur Soundbots.

Dj & tout jeune producteur basé à Nantes, décrire son univers n'est pas chose aisée, tant il est éclectique et influencé par l'évolution rapide de la scène actuelle. D'abord pris d'amour pour l'EBM industriel et ses sonorités stridentes, ses expériences de vie l'inspirent et tendent à l'orienter vers l'italo body music, pour finalement se complaire dans la house progressive , l'early trace, la synthwave, les gemmes old-school & autres genres s'y attenant. Co-fondateur du collectif Parhélie, il signe sa première sortie, "Nemesis" sur soundbots en janvier 2024. Ses sets et ses productions se veulent mêlés de synthés hypnotiques, de bass bondissante, de drums psychédéliques et métronomiques sur des paysages lunaire ampli de profondeur.
