Like most normal people, i don’t really like to big up myself, you know, that’s for others to do, in my opinion…

That said, I’m going to allow it when I say that I think this is the biggest, baddest, most good mix myself an the homie Cathedra￼￼l have ever recorded. 

For whatever reasons, Cathedral and Temple have always had this super powerful, natural b2b chemistry (Gaylord’s) and this mix really flexes that, big time.

With the mixing, we go one for one, so we’re both constantly involved in someway. 

Anyway, we hit record for this mix and managed to capture two absolute savages, both deep in their flow states, with plenty of vitamins and essential minerals to keep ‘em that way …….b2b, 1 for 1.


Since this fateful day many years ago, Cathedral has gone on to live  a simple, very nice and good, simple life.

Temple…… well, it’s hard to say, with all the vitamins and minerals… Temple was never heard from or seen again. Some say when Cathedral and Temple crushed it THAT hard, Temple was unfortunately turned into a cardboard box of some sort. Others say that Temple simply went mad from his genius, and spends his days pointlessly tweaking minute details of high hats that no sane human worth talking to could ever really perceive anyway…. 

The result? Quiet a fucking good mix really. Some absolutely stonkers in there for sure. Some trash too but it’s like…. Rustic, authentic, Fucking real. So just roll with it yeah!?

Temple b2b Cathedral - Feb17

This mix is I think myself in my element. The track selection, the style of mixing, all feels just right to me, this mix I feel encompasses a lot of my favourite styles of DnB. That kind of rolling, tech/funk kinda vibe. Almost like liquid but with teeth, some grit to it.

All off the dome, no planning or any thought went into this recording…. As you can probably tell hahah, I Just hit record and played what I felt like playing.

Temple Mix 420

I swear nobody quite does drums like Break. Always seems to achieve such a perfect level of compressed punch while leaving more than enough detail to shine. 

The first tune, This Ain’t Who We Are - Break, is a perfect example of this. Absolutely beautiful drums….

So that’s all I knew going into this one, I knew I wanted to start with that tune, try and find my flow and just roll on from there :)
