Taking inspiration from Italian musician Lucio Battisti's album 'la batteria, il contrabasso etcetera' (the drums, the double bass etcetera), SD examines the vital elements of drum and bass with this EP, guiding us through the multi-faceted influences that inform his production.

Be it the dreamy atmosphere and melancholic piano of 'Since I've been searching for', the liquid funk of 'How you like it' or the gritty drum led stomper 'Stompbox', SD ties it all together with the same jazz and blues sensibilities that give the whole project it's unique vibe.

'Acetate funk' delivers the funk element to maximum effect with looping 80s sounds and funk drums tuned to precision.

A varied EP that delivers both musically and technically, SD makes a fine debut for Dispatch LTD with this 5 track beast.

For DIS151 we welcome ChaseR to the label with this weighty debut Dispatch release. Hailing from Astrakhan in Russia, ChaseR has for a long time been influenced by the UK music scene. For this release, he has drawn inspiration from that culture and put together three tracks that are perhaps not typical for his usual output.

Packed with the cold, dark atmospherics and old school, basement party ethos; ChaseR has applied his new school production to the same theme and delivered the smoke-infused, rolling drums of 'Darkslide' and the rugged, ever stepping 'Lust'.

Our upcoming release is an Incurzion debut from newcomer Kin:etic, a producer known for soulful liquid and quickly making a name for himself with support from Skankandbass on his very first release. Stepping out of his comfort zone for Incurzion, Kin:etic supplies us with two massive deep tracks displaying a level of quality that makes you forget he was ever a liquid producer in the first place.

"Vastu", is a strictly deep track with a monstrous bassline and perfectly crafted drums. Throughout the track can be heard many complex elements of sound design which when brought together in such a cohesive manner form a truly well rounded and quality track.

The second, "Can't Let Go" is a crisp and clean minimal number complete with a haunting vocal, interesting moving bassline and tight drums. Slow and steady, but heavy hitting and of the highest quality.

We welcome Kinetic to Incurzion Audio and congratulate him on successfully producing a 2 track release in a new style which maintains the level of quality we expect.
