Pau Candelas, born in Barcelona, started in the world of electronic music about 6 years ago.
He discovered the purest sounds of the Birmingham sound at his early age, his evolution has gone from more mental sounds to high energy tracks for the dancefloor setting up himself inside the purest techno spectrum.
He created 100x100 Techno, a Magazine that in its beginnings was informative to end up being the collective that, together with Mäem, evolves upward, always risking for an avant-garde and pure vision that consolidates the project.
Blaark, influenced by Rumenige, Loktibrada, Óscar Mulero, Dj Boss... develops contundent techno sets full of forceful and innovative broken beatss that do not allow the dancers to stop from beginning to end.

Premiere: Structured Records presenta la continuación de su trabajo anterior, firmado por The Wire Alliance, titulado "Mathspace". El nuevo EP consta de 4 remezclas de Techno sólidas e impactantes, donde la diversidad dentro de cada track define a este disco de 12 pulgadas como la herramienta perfecta para prender fuego a la pista de baile. Silez, Swarm Intelligence, Rommek e Irrational Language se sumergen en un torbellino de drones, patrones rítmicos agresivos, líneas de bajo  y otros elementos sonoros que analizan creativa y profundamente las canciones originales. Un recopilatorio que por momentos recuerda al Birmingham de principios de los 2000, mientras que por otros inyecta un sonido más cercano al IDM, todo ello sin alejarse de su propia esencia: ejecución precisa del Techno, sin florituras ni pretensiones pero con mucha personalidad y una dirección clara, para proporcionar material atemporal para los DJs más exigentes.

The new EP consists of 4 solid and impactful Techno remixes, where the diversity within each track defines this 12-inch as the perfect tool to set the dancefloor on fire. Silez, Swarm Intelligence, Rommek, and Irrational Language dive into a whirlwind of drones, aggressive rhythmic patterns, exquisite basslines, and other sonic elements that creatively and deeply dissect the original songs. A compilation that at times sounds reminiscent of early 2000s Birmingham, while at other times injects a sound closer to IDM, all without straying from its own essence: precise Techno execution, without frills or pretensions but with a lot of personality and a clear direction—to provide timeless material for the most demanding DJs.

In a time when rough analog techno was experiencing its most sequential form, artist Steve Bailey aka Makaton bent its design into a new shape. A British producer cultivating a brittle aesthetic of hard-edged, high-fidelity techno for more than 20 years, Makaton’s productions first gained a foothold throughout the 2000s on his own Rodz-Konez label, and with his tribalistic elements and industrial fundament continuously refined in its approach and aggression, it’s labels Token, Blueprint and VOITAX now stationing Makaton on their front line.

With the true essence of his sound emanating from the factory lands of Birmingham, UK, Makaton’s ascension into the modern age is backed by a live show splitting itself between a wall of modular rigging and a mass of desktop machinery. Taking the subtle sound design, minimalism and syncopation of his work on the road, Makaton’s performances the world over have satisfied voracious appetites for techno in his native England and eastern Europe’s unbending clubland, to way up north for Scandinavia's fast techno scene, Berlin Meccas Tresor and Berghain, to prevailing further afield in Japan as a recent set for Dommune Tokyo demonstrates.

With music additionally commissioned for Pole Group’s Unknown Landscape Mix series, Fondation Sonore’s Paris/Berlin: 20 Years Of Underground Techno documentary and other high-profile label compilations. it’s clear the spearhead Makaton is for drill techno and the vanguard he fronts.
