“The boy realized it wasn’t God who he was talking to, but the dead totem that filled him with fears. The story of a journey from acknowledging and knowing to realizing and from there to feeling.”

The EP is a sonic pilgrimage of the soul liberating itself from the mind. Through repetitive phrases and circular rhythms, Azadi and Marutian tried to create hypnotic soundscapes to open windows to the subconscious of the listener. The recording is the outcome of a fully improvised set at Azadi’s studio.

Structured Experience is a center for new music and digital arts that is focused on education and audio-visual production. Its goal is to help the growing scene of new arts in Armenia to develop further. The project is founded by Arash Azadi in 2015. 

The center has been operating virtually and had organized a series of lectures, performances and installations in Yerevan, Tbilisi and Tehran.
