Next up in our mix series is Vel - a Moroccan artist, France-based, dj, producer of electronic music and engineer. Vel is part Mama Loves Ya, and from her base in Lyon, as a resident of the local club Le Secure - she has earned a big reputation around the globe.

In this mix Vel, takes us on excursion through the brainy, fast-paced and tribal outer ranges of psychdelic techno. Celar-paced yet textured techno, powerful yet graceful, Vel’s sound radiates through throbbing drums she summons from her memories, celestial whispers and fragile voices: the divine feminine emanates from all the pulsating vibrations she casts.

In the seventh episode of our mix series, we feature a dynamic mix from Sham, a Copenhagen-based artist with Syrian origins. Known for her impeccable focus and presence behind the decks, she consistently provides suggestive, ever-flowing grooves beneath hypnotizing atmospheres. Sham is an active figure in the Copenhagen scene, and recently launched her own club night series, with the inaugural event held at Den Anden Side.

DINA is a Berlin-based producer and DJ and co-founder of Nachtcrew – a label and party series fusing rave sounds, art and 3D mapping in order to provide a totally immersive sensorial experience. DINA’s production spans spacey ambience, punching basslines, and ethereal trance. She has released music on her own imprint Nachtcrew, and illustrious labels such as Amniote Editions, Space Trax, Live From Earth, and has many new stellar projects and releases in the pipeline. DINA has been invited to feature on a number of leading radio shows and podcasts including Hard Dance, Resident Advisor, Boiler Room, and NTS amongst others. She also hosts her own monthly radio show ‘Boarding Gate’ on station N10.AS and holds a residency at Munich club Rote Sonne.

The theme is love and lunacy. You will hear a lot of Melodies (which is not usually the case in my other podcasts😅). These melodies are the ones that stuck with me these last years …. It’s my first «ambientish » mix let’s say, with nearly no rhythms and many feminine voices. Only few percussions made their way into the mix cause I am too fascinated by drums. I wanted the podcast to transcript my feelings toward summer and melancholy.
