Episode 9 sees one of the main brothers take control! Seb has been quietly honing his skills behind the spinners whilst nurturing a classy ear for the finest material Bandcamp and other alternate sources have to offer. We thought of no better way for him to showcase these skills and the music he has collected over the past few years than recording a mix for us.

Seb is a lover of music in all its forms. A pioneer when it comes to sourcing the finest sounds from many a genre. It's an honour to be able to present our boy Sebs first recorded mix on our own series.

SUNDAY STEPPER SOCIETY SESSION 002 - MAHJONG WITH THE AUNTIES

After a few months of lockdown. The Sunday Stepper Society in the DimSumDistrict opens it's doors again for their weekly Mahjong sessions. We had an opportunity to speak to a small handful of these happy 'aunties' who haven't had a chance to play for a while. With one of the aunties saying "The over 2000 year old game is timeless and generation - bringing me closer and more curious about my Chinese heritage." Also an activity that has brought communities together according to another Auntie.

To provide the sunday energy influenced rhythms for these amazing and strong women are 5 artists that we have been amazed by. Big Up Alfredo Romero, Cooke, Donny Rotten, EYRA and Luke Hazell for helping us execute this idea with tracks of different styles. All showing appreciation of the tunes at the downtempo and more mellow end of the spectrum of breaky riddims.
