Katharsis is the second studio album released independently on February 13th, 2014. This project was produced at Antfarm Studio in Aarhus, Denmark by renowed Tue Madsen, who previously worked with THE HAUNTED, DARK TRANQUILITY, KATAKLYSM, among others. The artwork was signed by the french designer Stan W Decker.

The album’s title refers to catarsis under a psychological optics. This is a term well used in other contexts, like religion and arts. In this work, the band makes an allusion to an emotional collapse which results in renewal and liberation, causing a change in the point of view.

One-eyed glare with a rancid grin.
Its shadow crawls where the dark begins.

Its stench of rot turns the air to stone.
A serpent's tongue whispers alone.
Heavy steps like a funeral drum.
Closer it comes, and you can’t outrun.

Every breath, a reminder of hate.
Every creak seals your fate.
Your voice drips venom; your words are ash.
I heard you say:
“Under the bridge, you’ll feast on trash.”

One-eyed beast from a twisted sect.
Unholy black mass, your soul is a retch.
Spitting curses, vile and unclean.
In the dark, it haunts in silence, unseen.

Through the glass, your stare invades.
A leering ghost in the night parade.
Curtains shift as the creature slips inside.
No escape, no place to run or hide.
