Verse 1 
We sailed upon sweet bonnie boats, survived the highland clearances doon destitution road. Migrated to antipodes and built oorselves a haem. In southern skies the saltire flies again. 

Chorus 
Celtic Australia. Clans reunited underneath the southern stars. Refugees from foreign shores, welcome with open arms to Celtic Australia. 

Verse 2 
The Blight and famine took its toll, future generations fought them hard and fought them well. Emerald Isle diaspora say “a rovin’ we will go.” The Pride of Erin starve no nay no more.
