I've been threatening to do a new old skool house mix for a good while now but after much digging through my music collection I've finally done one I'm happy with! Right then, on Spring Bank Holiday Sunday I shall be heading to my conceptual home of Newcastle to play in the Klubbed Out arena at Ikon Live @ the 02 Academy, one of the biggest nights in the North! This was meant to be done over 2 years ago but took that long trying to get it right that I never got time to do it.... thanks to the Christmas break  I've finally managed to get it done! The majority of this is the cheesy trance and scouse house stuff I used to play from 2001-2005, but with a a few newer bits chucked in. 17 Years Of General Bounce part 2 - trance / scouse / classic dance

As promised, an upload of one of my two closing sets at Void's Afterhours shenanigans for Manchester Pride weekend! You all know the drill by now but this one goes a fair bit harder than usual - which (if you were there) is just the way you all liked it, judging by the reaction on the dancefloor! Out of this whole set it was the tunes in the last 2 hours that went off the most.... not bad for a supposedly "dying / dead" genre :)

Playing at Void for 2018's Manchester Pride celebrations was easily one of my favourite gigs of the year and my favourite weekend ever at that club, and all of that was down to the people on the dancefloor so if you were there for either of my sets, thank you loads for an amazing weekend, you guys rocked!

One for those of you who enjoy my Void sets! This is a 2 hour guest mix I recorded for Jay Flynn's Altered State Radio Show which is broadcast on NE1 FM in Newcastle & Gateshead and on novaradio.co.uk every Friday night.  This goes through the full spectrum of what I play out regularly, starting with some disco & funky house numbers before building up to some tougher tech house, pumping, hard house & bounce in the second half. General Bounce live @ Void, 1st January 2020

As many of you will be aware, I played my last ever closing set at Void in Manchester on January 19th (my 37th birthday) due to the venue closing its doors after being purchased by Stonegate. However despite the very last minute news, absolutely loads of you made the effort to turn up (some from as far away as Ireland) for one last dance and stayed till the very end of the night at 10am! For those of you who missed out, expect the usual build from funky and vocal house to all things hard and bouncy - loads of upfront and new music with a good helping of proper Void anthems thrown in throughout!

Thank you to all of you who've stomped a hole in the dancefloor right up until closing time every time I've played there in the last 6 years, and thanks to Paul, David, Jack and all the team there for giving me the opportunity to play there. Void has been a massive part of my life since I first started playing there back in 2014, and I've made friends and memories there that I'll treasure for ever!

So on 7th March I was lucky enough to be asked back to play for Rejuvenation in Leeds, which is by far my favourite event in the whole country, so I've re-recorded my set from the night for you all! It's been bloody ages since I've played some of these tunes and the Rejuve crew are easily the best crowd to play them to. Some proper Rave On / Parlez Vous anthems on this along with some newer old skool flavoured stuff! 

Thanks to Si & Suzanne Frater for making me a part of Rejuve's birthday shenanigans for the second year in a row, and for just being awesome people in general. And of course everyone who was on the dancefloor for my set (special mention goes to Lisa Pin Up - she was the first HH DJ I ever saw live so it was ace to swap sides with her over 20 years later)!

Some of you may have heard this mix before.... I originally recorded it over 3 years ago but thought it was due another airing! 

Basically this is a mix of old tunes that used to get played out round town for the first few years I was clubbing, when town centres used to play commercial dance that was actually decent instead of Shit House Mafia and RnB bollocks.... those who remember the days of Alex Pepper on Galaxy 105, Lingards, Club Barcelona, Creation, Ikon, Jessops and the Big F in Yorkshire should enjoy this!

Can you believe it's been 10 years since I did my first Backdoor Bangers mix back in 2011! To mark the occasion I thought I'd best get a new one done and I personally think this one is my best one for a while.
