The musical journeys of Dance Spirit and David Scuba alike have been defined by a unique sense of perpetual evolution and sonic exploration. Now through the infamously spirited Desert Hearts Records, these two scene dominating entities have joined forces to produce one of their most prized releases to date, the ‘Dust’ EP. 

As its name implies, Dust is primed for the most tribal dance floors of the international House and Techno communities. From the spaced out percussive wonder of the EP’s title track, to the throbbing yet playfully distorted vocal samples of ‘Cactus Cloud’, right into the woefully experimental synth work of ‘Mirage’, the release delivers a murky dreamstate of massive proportion. 

Hailing from Barcelona, Christopher Mohn and Reagan Denius of Dance Spirit bring to this collaboration years of experience and countless releases on premiere labels like Maison D’Etre, Superfreq, Kindisch, Culprit, Akbal Music, and Endless. Their refined take on Techno calls on heavy layering and effortlessly rolling low ends to produce minimal yet vibe ridden 4/4 masterpieces. A renowned live show has landed them at Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Piknik Electronic, City Fox, Sacbe and of course on the dusty helm of the Desert Hearts Festival. 

David Scuba’s impeccable taste for swelling basslines and crowd carrying anthems has earned him an industry wide reputation amongst fans and heads alike. His invaluable founding membership of Mr. C’s Superfreq has seen David’s role within the label and partysquad sprawl from resident DJ to promoter - carrying him from Detroit and Bogota to Mexico’s BPM Festival and fabric London. He too has flexed his irrefutable knowledge of the life atmosphere at Desert Hearts Festival, playing one of the most talked about sets of the Three Year Anniversary Festival this past November.

'Both Marc DePulse and Betoko are amongst the few artists sharing our start when we've just put out first EPs , so especially good having Marc and Beto back on Eleatics, now - as their collaboration 'Pulzing' release.

Main title 'Pulzing' is the melodic playground of the neat groove with the same sharp-cut melodic elements; where Germany based producer Jiggler (Stil Vor Talent, Kittball), who has become one of the most successful Melodic House & Techno artists this year, brought his melodic approach to his remix.
‘Simbiotik’ got more progressive notes on it where the remixing part is by Belarus located producer Dmitry Molosh (EIN2, Replug) embraced into the finesse of Progressive House world.

We only release music we absolutely love, and so we are proud to present yet another very talented artist on Truesounds Music - Italy-based Unstable Son, with his new 4-track EP, Dystopia.

The title track ‘Dystopia’, one of the most outstanding productions that has come our way recently, combines a breakbeat base with contemporary melodic, liquid sound. The cherry on top is the vocal from Lily Und Wolf. 

For the remix, when it comes to quality we do not compromise, so we asked the underground icon, Martin Roth, to rework the tune and we are extremely delighted to have him on our label. With potential to become a club anthem, it’s most definitely a peak time tune that takes you on a hypnotic journey with a multitude of melodies and a groove that will make you dance till the very end.

The next track, ‘Secrets’ is a bit different with an uplifting, joyful, Ibiza vibe and a male vocal by Dcoverz. Finally we have an instrumental track, ‘Ypsilon’, with a true underground sound - just what Truesounds is all about. We hope you enjoy!

For the Melodic House edition of Yoshitoshi 25, we’ve focused on the tracks that were either too proggy for house or too melodic for techno. Many house historians would claim that this sound has been Yoshitoshi’s bread and butter throughout the years, and this final entry into the Yoshitoshi 25 compilation series demonstrates exactly why. As with the other two compilations, we’ve selected a handful of freshly remastered, stone-cold classics such as PQM’s “You Are Sleeping (Luke Chable Mix),” Valentino’s “Flying,” and Morel’s “True (The F****t Is You - Deep Dish Remix),” and mixed them up with the most memorable modern records from Yoshitoshi’s catalogue like OC & Verde’s “Indica,” Khainz’s “Collider,” and Red Axes’ remix of Dino Lenny’s “I Feel Stereo.” Of course the package wouldn’t be complete without some new remixes, so Sharam and Armonica have delivered some beautifully-crafted reworks of Yoshitoshi classics. Sharam takes on Luzon’s mega-classic “The Baguio Track,” turning the tune into a dark roller that has been the talk of his recent Burning Man sets. Armonica crafted an amazing remix of Anarcrusan’s “In My Mind” that winds gracefully between delicate, dreamy riffs and bouncy, bass-driven breakdowns. The final package is a perfect way to end the Yoshitoshi 25 series, giving both new listeners and longtime fans of the label an expansive view of the label’s legacy. Look out for it December 13th on Beatport and streaming platforms.

Cid Inc’s Replug Records caps off a successful year by welcoming Dmitry Molosh back to the label for a new artist showcase. The Belarus native and progressive music favourite rounded out 2018 with his chart topping ‘Detektor’ EP for the Finnish imprint. 2019 has seen further successes, with EP’s for Guy J’s Armadillo Records and Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music sitting as the highlights. Now fresh off a contribution to Nick Warren’s Balance compilation, Dmitry lands back on Replug with ‘Cascade’.

Firmly sitting amongst progressive music's elite, Dmitry continues to deliver some of the genre's most beloved tracks with 'Cascade' being the latest in a long line of gems. Fuelled by rhythm and groove; it's chunky foundation, driving percussion and buoyant rhythmic core form the backbone of this exhilarating journey. Panning effects and emerging atmopheres smoothly segue into the main break, shifting the narrative further into melodic territory. Sitting comfortably in an ethereal yet emotive space, the lead motif rises, resonating on a warm and inviting frequency, gently evolving across a foggy atmospheric backdrop, before a gentle rush sparks a thrilling final act.

The companion piece ‘Step By Step’ follows suit with an equally impressive display of rhythm and groove. Spacious and energetic, it’s a creation built around rolling bass tones and vibrant chord stabs. Ethereal phrases and buzzing effects converge as the first act unfolds, while colourful vocal fragments shift energy into the break. Timely modulation adds drama and tension across the one minute interlude, ultimately reaching a swirling crescendo and perfectly setting up a powerful third act.

Dmitry’s long standing relationship with Replug has spawned several of progressive music’s finest moments over the last half decade. ‘Cascade’ once again follows suit and looks set to be one of the winter seasons most in demand releases.

PakPak Records welcome AfterU for a new two track EP that takes you on a heady and spiritual journey. This pair is made up of Elmar Ivatarov & Vitali Pevzner and they bring a fine mix of melodic techno and deep house to their sounds on the likes of Sprout and many more.

Opener Kalibri is an exquisitely ethnic eight minute trip with warm, groovy drums and plenty of exquisite synths that light up the airwaves up top. It is hypnotic and heady and truly escapist, and features Ilan Oz (Ozart) on the piano, and Vitali on the violin for a classic touch. Umza Pumza is a darker tune with frazzled chords and tense percussion that keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes for a thrilling ride, super dramatic with psychedelic elements.

This is another majestic outing for this fast rising pair.
