Brand new track from The Rich O'Brien Project''s forthcoming album "Horizons".

The Rich O'Brien Project are a Funk/Nu-Soul and Jazz outfit from Bristol led by Bassist Richard O'Brien. Having played for the likes of Roni Size, William Cartwright, Celestine, Rob Brian and Joker his latest project merges grooves reminiscent of a Marcus Miller or Soulive record with ambient melodies that explore a range of musical styles; appealing to both astute listeners and dance floor goers alike. With rich ‘grooves for moves’ and soulful melodies characteristic of smoke-filled Jazz clubs, the debut album "Hot Potato" received the Robert Blackwell Composition Price. 

Mixed and recorded by Ed Adams, and featuring the musical talents of Dale Hambridge (Keys), Matt Brown (Drums), Joe Price (Guitar), Jon Herbert (Sax) and Gary Alesbrook (Flugal horn) the new album is due out in Jan/Feb 2014 both as a digital download and a physical hardcopy. Watch this space.
