This week's show is all about house music. Resident WoodyR8 treats us to a glorious hour of stomping tunes and chunky dancefloor monsters.

His guest for the second hour was The Loneliest Hunk, a New Zealand-based DJ and producer who weaves together the sounds of house, disco, indie dance and electronica to bring you music with joy, happiness and a bit of grunt. All the things to make you dance and smile. Known for his eclectic selections, his sets blur the line between introspection and hedonism. 

He has been working in the edits/reworks scene for the last few years with music out on Lisztomania, Sundries, Discoholics Anonymous, That’s Not an Edit and Hot Jandal Music.

His work has garnered a global following, with plays from legendary DJs including Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, Peter Kruder, Craig Charles on his BB6 Funk and Soul radio show, Birdee, Rimarkable, Yolando Be Cool, Fingerman, and Ladies on Mars to name a few.

NDC Radio chief Yorkee took to the decks this week and unleashed an uplifting set of house and disco grooves with a few 80s remixes thrown in for good measure. 

His guest for the second hour was James Worrall, a driving force on the DJ circuit. Based in Sheffield, he's the founder of Funk My Disco and WE AR Sheffield, and serves as the long‑standing resident DJ at Love To Be.

Over a career spanning nearly 20 years, James has held residencies at iconic venues and nights including Plug (Saturdays alongside acts like Lily Allen, Pete Tong, De La Soul, Norman Jay, and Justice), All Points North, Rise at the Leadmill, Back House rooms at Jump Around, Forum/Halcyon, and Ministry of Sound tour events 

His sets range from disco house and techno to funky and soulful grooves—always energetic, always moving 

James is also a seasoned promoter—working with Pure DJs Ltd, and managing UK and European tours for legendary acts like Sugarhill Gang, Melle Mel, and Scorpio Furious Five

From Clubs and festivals in the UK and Europe to world-class clubs and festivals across Australasia, New Zealand and Asia, Stuart h
as secured bookings alongside the leading forces in dance music, playing festivals, raves, and in dance arenas with over 10,000 people, and regularly plays in Ibiza and the UK when visiting.
He artfully mixes his classics dating back to the 90’s -2000's with everything from Funky, Uplifting House, through to pumping sets. Over the last 4 years, Stuart has been running and performing at The Shindig club nights, with guest slots in Brisbane city and interstate.
He has now secured a residency on the world-renowned NDCRADIO.CO.UK  on Saturday 8-10 pm AEST and 10 am - 12 noon UK  GMT.
