Reelworld One CHR Core Update - March 2025

Here is a comparison of Reelworld jingles as caught on Y Country before and after their frequency swap from 97.5 (WRRA/Bridgman-St. Joseph, MI; KYGO 2020) to 99.9 (WYTZ/Benton Harbor, MI-South Bend, IN; KYGO 2024).

All jingles were recorded on the stream between Thursday, February 27 and Friday, March 7, 2025.  The 99.9 jingles were recorded within 36 hours of the frequency swap's occurrence.  The montage is arranged in cut order.  Enjoy!

As we do every year, I had another enjoyable up-north summer vacation in Frankfort, MI this past week! Here is a montage of all Reelworld jingles that I caught during my first vacation of the summer. Most are from Reelworld One.

You'll hear a wide range of stations from places like the northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan, the Green Bay and Milwaukee areas of Wisconsin, and beyond! Check out some downstate jingles from the ride there at the start and the ride home at the end!

All jingles were caught over the air using a Philips DVT6010 handheld recorder with FM recording capability (except for a few recorded secondhand on car and portable radios) between Sunday, June 1 and Sunday, June 8, 2025. Some jingles in this montage were repeated to show differences in signal strength over time. 

Stay tuned at the end of the month for a second off-air Reelworld montage as we go back up north to officially kick off summer! Enjoy!
