Italian dj/producer based in Berlin active since the 00’s, he released 2 LPs on Music For Dreams and Optimo Music, and numerous tracks or Ep’s on Tusk Wax, Joe's Bakery, Is It Balearic? Recordings, Clandestino or Archaic Future Sounds. 

He also runs his label "Harmonie Exoti"c dedicated to the curation & reissue of obscure gems from the past, including the excellent compilation "Milagros Del Ritmo Obscure Rhythmic Tunes From 1988 -1991", a delightful selection of rare tracks from latin and acid house, new beat, arabic sounds to downtempo, just like this exclusive mix for our series, enjoy!

In July 2010, I got an invitation to play at a small but neat festival named Folk Ibiza. It was my first visit to the island. I got to spin at a bunch of different locations, such as the Hostal Boutique Salinas, Sunset Ashram, and on the terrace at Space. I returned in September of the following year to play a set on Andy Wilson's show on Ibiza Sonica and a second time at the Hostal. I have not been back to Ibiza since. I recently came across this picture (taken at Cala Compte next to Sunset Ashram), which inspired me to make this mix. I tried to sonically capture the vibe that I felt back then. It includes some bona fide classics such as Ashra "Oasis“, Santana "Aqua Marine," and Jah Wobble & Holger Czukay "Hold On To Your Dreams," as well as tunes by Smith & Mudd, Begin, Quiet Village and more. Running Hot is producer and DJ Mark Newman. He discovered rave when he was 13 via a tape from his mate at school which has led to a lifelong love affair. He is is orignally from South Wales and now resides in Berlin running with the Love On The Rocks crew... This mix is based on his love of Italo-house. It's a nice one... Enjoy.

"I recorded this one in the middle of another frosty and grey morning in Berlin so I wanted to try and conjure up some of the spirit of summer. I’d had the idea for a while to try and do a mix with a lot of very pitched down Italo-house stuff so that it almost starts to sound a bit like kwaito and has a nice laid back feel… So here it is! Hope you enjoy!"
