I was born in 1978, my Dad, Ron Neilson was a comedian, singer-songwriter at that point. He had written my sister her baby song (Tami Neilson) "You're Just Heaven" only  14 months earlier. He didn't have his own studio then so he chose to record his demoes w the Lanois brothers in Hamilton, Bob and Danny. This track is strictly Daniel Lanois and my father. Daniel plays piano, produced, engineered, mixed, etc. My Dad says that halfway through the first session a bat got into the studio and Dad left after Daniel became distracted and started setting up mics in order to track the bat. Enjoy!

I often get out there and sing in clubs and bars.
I was performing at a local neighborhood bar n grill a couple years back
and someone captured me covering this. I gotta admit, I am a MASSIVE Michael Jackson fan so I know I am treading lightly. I am on bass and lead vocals (and the bass takes the guitar solo); my friend Bruce "Jimmy" Larone on keys and prgramming. 

It reminds me of summertime.
