De gaswinning uit ‘kleine velden’ loopt veel sneller terug dan het kabinet denkt. Wat de uitstoot van broeikasgassen betreft, is dat slecht nieuws, zo concludeert de onafhankelijke denktank HCSS in een nieuwe studie. Een van de auteurs is Jilles van den Beukel. Ik vraag hem hoe het komt dat de gaswinning uit 'kleine velden' sneller afneemt en wat de gevolgen zijn voor de Nederlandse energievoorziening.

Sequences Podcast No 179

„Snuffo in Santanyí“ is a bi-weekly, 2-hour long radio show, hosted by German Electronic Music producer, live act and label owner: Snuffo. The format is recorded in his studio in the village of Santanyí on the island of Mallorca, Spain. 

On episode #43, Snuffo welcomes the one and only Dr. Walker. 

This man is a true legend of the international Underground Music Scene. He does and did so many exciting projects and releases since the early 90s - it’s really mind-blowing!  

Dr. Walker founded many ace labels - for example DJungle Fever, Structure or XXC3 - and  helped to reanimate the infamous imprint Harvest. 

As a producer, he released more than 800 vinyl records and CDs under over 100 different artist names and collaborations.  His most famous project is probably Air Liquide (together with Jammin' Unit). 

Walker was also a cofounder of the record store Delirium Cologne (which later became Kompakt). 

In Cologne, he ran the legendary club bar Liquid Sky Cologne, followed by Club Camouflage with its artist hotel „Monte Christo“.  At this club, he and Snuffo also met for the first time around 2003 (or 2004?) 

On the Greek island Crete the "Monte Christo artist hotel" was installed too. 

Later in Berlin, Dr. Walker established the Liquid Sky Berlin with a lot of stunning events and amazing artists included.
 
Since a few years, Walker is living in Portugal, where he is alive and kicking with the Liquid Sky Artistcollective. Together they are working on many game-changing projects. 

Recently, Walker helped his buddies Matt Black (Coldcut/Ninja Tune) and Girts (boss of Erica Synths) to design the instant cult hardware dub-effect „Zen Delay" 

This year,  Walker and his like minded people will launch a new experimental gear-label called "liquid sky d-vices“.
