대구 출신의 LL YOON J 는 대학 재학 당시 언더그라운드 흑인 음악과 문화에 매료되어 파티를 만들고 디자인 전공을 살려 포스터 디자인을 주로 맡았다.

서울로 상경하고 수많은 파티를 오가며 경험하고 만난 사람들 중, 비트메이커이자 레코드 디제이인 아방가르드 박(Avantgarde vak) 의 영향으로 Record를 모으게 되었으며 

샘플링 기반의 골든에라 힙합으로 관심을 갖고 디제잉을 시작하였으나 8,90년대의 그루브감이 있는 Urban contemporary R&B, New jack swing, acid jazz, Disco Funk 등 다양한 장르들로 스펙트럼을 넓혀가고 있다.

LL YOON J, from Daegu, was fascinated by underground black music and culture while attending college, so he created parties and mainly designed posters using his design major.

Among the people I met and experienced while going to Seoul and going to numerous parties, I started collecting records under the influence of Avantgarde vak, a beatmaker and record DJ.

It started with sampling-based Golden Era hip-hop, but has expanded its spectrum to a variety of grooved music from the 80s and 90s, including Disco funk, Urban contemporary R&B, New jack swing, and acid jazz.
