I've been jamming around with these sounds for a while, so I wanted to get something recorded.

Recorded live on the Behringer X18 mixer using built-in effects: 3 compressors and a reverb

Magic Warmth

"Fire on the Mountain" began out of a listening to the thunderstorms that worked their way through the Pisgah National Forest here in western North Carolina.  The sound of thunder would swell and resound through the mountains first 'close to home,' then in far, fading rumbles. When you're outside communing with them, a feeling of awe naturally arises. 

Awe and Wonder may be our greatest hope in times like these. I'm certain this piece was the result of my own attempts to work through the under and overcurrents of madness that seems to rear up at odd times in our world. 

This is an attempt to dance through it at varying tempos.
