Studio 99 was a french Rap label based in the south suburb of Paris (91). "Was" because it is no longer active. It used to host and produce BBT, a band composed of 5 french Mcs, as well as guest artists such as Attentat, Enfants des Iles (EDI) and Porté Disparu (PO). "Label" might also be a bit strong, as Studio 99 was basically a room where 5 people could fit, with a simple computer, a keyboard and a Sony camcorder as a microphone. It was also a website, http://neufneuf.net/.

Productivity reached a peak in the early 2000, as the label managed to release an important discography as well as gather a loyal audience. However, soon the team moved on to something else, and the whole thing kind of disappeared even deeper underground.

Yet as even today some people are looking desperate to find tunes recorded over a decade ago, we decided to use SoundCloud to open our collection of MP3s and share it with you. Keep listening!
